As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

they looked old to me , even at the back. utd had to much pace for them last night and that torres looks like bendtner at the moment, slow and confused,
Glad the Chavs are out, just need Schalke or Inter to do them in the Semi.
Otherwise I will be getting very concerned about a possible treble, esp if they beat Citeh on Saturday.

Football is sadly not played on paper.Utd have a much better manger than us.Who makes his back up players O'Shea Smalling Park Gibson and Henandez run through brickwalls for him.Can Wenger make shite like Eboue Squillaci Denilson Rosicky Diaby and Bendtner do the same.Would Fergie have any of them in his squad.
United's 3rd striker is Hernandez ours is Bendtner need i say anymore

Yes all true..but beyond that they just don't seem to have much understanding in the team, they don't flow like we do, like United do, it's almost like a bunch of strangers underperfomring together...which is unforgiveable given the quality they have and the players they have had opportunity to buy....
As i said if i were Abramovich i'd dump the manager in the summer i don't think he is up to it...It would be interesting to see how someone like O'niell would get on at Chelski i think he is probably just what they need...

Yes they have the advantage of a manager who is more capable of getting the most out of his players, but they are as weak as i can ever remember them being at the moment as far as quality goes...
I think we are a better football side than they are at the moment, but their professionlism, character, attitude, instilled by Fergie still gives them a bit of an edge over us...But it's an edge that i think we are only a couple of the right types of players in the right positions away from overcoming....
As for Hernandez, is he really that good, i'm not so sure, only time will tell, my guess is he's not much better than Vela and in a couple of years he'll probably be shipped out quietly, thought to be not quite good enough and we will never hear of him again..
Whereas Bendtner who i am not a huge fan of will probably end up at a club more suitable to his game and thrive and we will be wondering why we let him go, or more to the point why our manager played a lump like him out wide...
