Protest at Swansea Match

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lads. This one isn't difficult: ALL OF YOU BRING A WHITE HANKIE TO THE GAME! And then, five minutes from the end of the game, irrespective of the score, start waving them and booing/whistling in unison. Simple and effective, MOTD, all the football cameras won't miss 55,000 disgruntled fans doing it.
When this is done in Spain, it is usually as a massive f*** you to the board AND manager. If this is done, there is no way Wenger or Gazidis etc can escape the criticism.
One thing I will say, is that it's time for ppl to grow a backbone. The black scarf march was a good start, but seriously fucking hell, how about just chanting AGAINST WENGER! It's almost as if ppl are scared of the AKBs...
Just chant 'we want Wenger Out'. Because let's face it, the majority of us now want that *word censored* out.

Doesn't having a white hankie poking out of your left rear pocket mean you like anal with spit-lube? Or is that the right pocket? I can't remember, it's been months since I last saw JLS.

Just chant 'we want Wenger Out'. Because let's face it, the majority of us now want that c**t out.
Despite others taking the pi55 at least it's a viable option.

However you won't get 55,000 doing it and like the chanting it will create tension between the AKB's and the Wenger out factions. If the majority wanted him out there would be a lot more chanting.

The majority of fans just want him to fix it and calling for his head is a step too far for most. If things don't improve with new buys in the next two days and in January there will be more people against him.

I prefer the silent, visible protest.

how would they know? 1 bin liner would be tiny when folded up, piece of piss to sneak in, you could literally put it in your pocket, or down your pants if you're paranoid

not enough room to put down my pants
then wear your own underwear and not the wife's for this one ;)

I like the black bin liner idea but feel it would be more appropriate to do it at the start of the game rather than at the end. Say we end up beating Swansea by a few (I know its not guarenteed) but we'd look a bit stupid all walking out with bin liners on the seats. Perhaps everybody placing them on their seat say 10mins before KO and then watching the first 5mins of the game in the concorse would have a better effect.

I also thought about going round and trying to throw the season ticket wallet that came in the membership pack this year back up at the Directors Box from Block 1.

hardly surpirsing though. upper east stand and clock end tickets. The east stand upper are 70quid.

Seventy quid a ticket to watch this squad against Swansea (no disrespect). Absolutely ridiculous.

I remember against Watford was it? When the entire North Bank started chanting for them. It was just before George came in. Fuck I miss Highbury

I actually think this is a very good idea ; I saw this in action when we played in the Mestella in Valencia back in 2001, although it was against the ref on this occasion - They were looking for a penalty, and when the ref waved 'play on' 50,000 white hankies appeared out of nowhere and were waved furiously all across the stadium for about ten seconds ; Very impressive.
