Song has been very, very poor. Distribution from the back hasn't been very good and we seem to be severely lacking in ideas going forward. I can't remember Benayoun touching the ball.

Listening on the radio, do Kos and Mert look as bad as it sounds? Seems like they're not on the same wave-length at all :?

Kos and Mert are playing alright but there's absolutely no protection from the midfield whatsoever. Song has been shocking and Gibbs can't defend, meaning Kos has to keep coming across on the cover.

They're getting mixed up sometimes with when to push up and when to stay. It's only the second time they've played together though, so it may well improve over time. For now, I'm more concerned with Merersacker's distribution, though.
