What's that got to do with this match threadCaptain Fabregas wrote:torres scored and is sent off for the chavs lol

We have been complete w*nk in that first half, not even a shot on target. Bolton moving quick on the counter attack and defending well when we get into final third.
We need an early goal in the second half

Even David Wheater has looked better than our lot at the back- Walnut has been dire.
This is BOLTON FFS- Man Yoo put 5 past them away from home and Citeh put 4 past them also. Thay have lost 11 of their last 12 games away from home and are one of the few teams who have a worse away record than we do.
We're making them look good

What can you say when we've been employing the same tactics and formation for the last 6 months and not in a single one of those games have we looked anywhere near convincing either defensively or in attack. He's had a pre-season to work on something new and yet people will still make excuses for him.
This is shambolic and Wenger's stubbornness is turning into rank neglect of his duties, bring another striker on so RvP has something to work with when he drops deeper because our 3 man midfield is lacking both the form and the legs to provide the attacking flair this system requires.

I don't know what's worse, the shitty internet stream cutting out every 15 seconds, or the fact that even when it works it's hard to tell cos the football looks every bit as stop-start and frustrating as fuck to watch.
If things dont improve 2nd half then if/when we get tonked by the scum next week I can see that being the tipping point for the fans to turn en masse.

Too fucking right. If we get tonked at Sp*rs next weekend I'm going to be fucking livid. We pay good money season after season to watch this team and NONE of it has been reinvested in the squad and now the fans, who have been screaming out for new signings for at least three seasons, are starting to pay the price. Its Up 4 Grabs Now wrote:I don't know what's worse, the shitty internet stream cutting out every 15 seconds, or the fact that even when it works it's hard to tell cos the football looks every bit as stop-start and frustrating as fuck to watch.

To be fair, I'd say the lack of urgency, if you want to call it that, isn't down to a lack of desire but almost certainly a lack of confidence i.e. everyone's taking an extra touch and as a result we lack fluency and drive.worthing_gooner wrote:Total lack of urgency, no slick passing, shit football, can't defend still, no confidence, same old 4-5-1 which still doesn't work.
Without Cesc, Nasri and Wilshere (who were the most comfortable on the ball) we're unable to get any momentum going.
It's a new look team now, and the [frustrating] pretty little triangles of recent years look to have been replaced by raw [uncontrolled] speed on the wings and more direct [but less assured] passing through the middle.
It's rubbish to watch at the moment, but hopefully the confidence will return and we'll be able to string enough points together to push Sp*rs and Liverpool for 4th.
Still fancy a win today, but a set piece could very well undo us... again.
