TBH most of us think that Spuds squad is stronger than ours. I thought that without Modric and VDV they would lose to West Brom, but they still had enough quality to win
I hope my response will not lead to some one calling me a Spud

Your from cork so being called a spud is the least of your worries

I don't understand the 'logic' (if you can call it that) of some on here saying that "Oh its Spurs...they always collapse". Why on earth does it matter what used to happen once upon a time

Arsenal used to get better in the 2nd half of the season, Chelsea used to be a 2nd division club, Huddersfield Town used to be the best team in the country, Liverpool used to dominate the League. Spurs never used to win 9 League games in a row.

The fact is the current Spurs midfield is as good as any in the PL with the possible exception of Manchester City, certainly better than ours. They've had at least two and often three centre halves out injured most of the season and still coped too, where as we were in meltdown when we'd lost our first choice centre halves

And all this stuff about 'if' they get an injury. Well that goes for just about everyone except City too. Sure if Modric, Bale, Adebayor and Parker all get injured at once they'll suffer.....and we won't if RvP, TV5, Szezcny, Wilshere and at least one other also get injured?

Redknapp:

"We've got to be a club looking to go places," he said in The Sun. "The potential is great here. We sell out every week, we've got good players.

"If we're going to make a signing, let's make one big signing. That would send out a message.

Wenger:

'We are not looking in the window as we are satisfied with the many options we have'.

Spuds are ahead of Arsenal in the league.

Oh almost forgot...
Are there still any deluded clowns out there who think Arsenal are going to finish ahead of the Spuds this season? Hah.
It's like asking a BMX to catch up with a Lamborghini Diablo that is already two laps ahead. PLEASE.

Ooooh one more thing: Spuds got Gareth Bale from Southampton for £6 mil.

Wenger got Theo Walcott from the same club, for double the price.

Years later, and one is a PFA Footballer of the Year, one of the most dangerous players in the league, who would easily fetch over £35 mil in the transfer market.

The other, is a speed merchant who has fulfilled the root sun of fuck all, but has still found the time to write an autobiography, and pick up £60k a week.

You couldn't make this up.

Arsene Wenger, the Great developer of Youth.

 Haha

They're five points ahead with a game in hand against Everton at home, so basically they're eight points ahead. And you think we'll make up that difference between now and the end of the season?

Dream on.

They're superior to us in almost every area. Their midfield pisses all over ours and they have more than 1 striker to score their goals.

They're probably gonna make a marquee signing next month as well while Le *word censored* settles for a lone deal for a washed up crock of shite like Bridge.

Its all looking a bit ominous- Bale is tearing teams apart with his pace. As I speak he just stormed through the Norwich backline with a blistering run and executed a lob over the keeper to finish it off (Remember what that is Feo?)

How Wenger didnt buy Parker for just £5m and kept that plank Song sums our idiot manager up

I wonder how long it'll be, before the next uninformed prick comes up with the "they're only where they are because they haven't played anyone yet" line

How much longer are we going to carry on that little tale of denial eh?

Fulham at home 1-1. Wolves at home 1-1.

Spurs stuffed Liverpool at home, we lost whilst still considering whether to sign more "super quality" before the window shut.

We lost at Old Trafford - which some might say "didn't matter because we'd already won our important game at Udinsese". Strange how those six goals seem to represent the difference in goal diff between us and the Spuds and are almost effectively another point.

Arsene Wenger - truly a man for all seasons......and all of them trophyless

They'll finish above us this season, no doubt about it. I've been resigned to it since the start of September, this is the best squad they've had for decades.

Fuck 'em though, bunch of muggy *word censored*.

Yeah, I mean staying in a ground that only holds about 35,000 people.

Who'd have thought that could work eh? I mean we only won 3 PL titles in seven years, four FA Cups, a run to the CL final, a whole season unbeaten.

Fuck that for a blueprint eh? Much rather move to a shiny new ground in order to "compete with Europe's elite", sign a bunch of cheap imported no-marks and watch everyone else overtake us.

Stop ruining our fucking football club; piss off and let Usmanov and Dein get us back to where we once were.

There will be no St Totteringham's day this year, it was getting embarrassing celebrating it later and later every year.

They're better than us because they stregthened and held, whilst we sold and weakened.

We are the rich man's Wet Spam. In 6 years we've sold players that would've won us the league at least twice(07/08 and 10/11) and we watch the hated neighbours spend strengthen and get past us with c**ts like Vdtw*t,Greedy and the ape flashing us the V's.

It is depressing but there's absolutely no point in getting striker's penis envy. For all of us that want a change, Redknob,Apeman,Mogwitch et all are the best thing to happen to us.

My predictions for the rest of the season.

Shitty,Scum,Manure and the mousers will do the double over us, Stoke will tonk us at the Tit. We will scrape 6th, just.

The revenue will plummet. RvP will be gone to hopefully Milan/Madrid. I'd hate him to turn out for Shitty, but can't say I would begrudge him the chance to win shit.

Attendances will drop and AW and the board will have no choice but to start again with the 'mad' professor gone.

That's what the spuds did and that's what we'll need. We need to hit the bottom before we can climb back up.

This year is a reality check once RvP gets injured, teams will sing at us You're shit and you know you are and we will join in.
