Citeh match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What's the point of singing a song that's meant to be a wind up if no-one understands wtf you're going on about? :?

I didn't have you down as a WUm Chippy, but hey! live and learn  :D

To go back to my 'Original' post...I suggested that should we win at $hitty - which is feasible imo, then once the final whistle has been blown..ie: the fat lady has indeed sung...we could then sing/chant

WHERE'S YOUR POSMAN GONE!?

WHERE'S YOUR POSMAN GONE!?

Not being a know it all of football chants and their respective spelling, (as I had only heard the chant rather than seen it in print) like art - strawberry blonde - garfunkel (aka: swlgooner) clever dickie - I spelt Posman with an 's' - apparently it is spelt with a 'z'.....However when sung/said/chanted - the 's's sounds the same as a 'z'...hey presto

.....as long as it works....

But ohhhhhh! no swlgooner being the ex-member of a folk/pop duo and so a feckin' Big Headed Crunt has to have a go....and so I then end up explaining to lesser lights on the planet that is Earth....The why's, what's and wherefore's etcetera...

Now then Ye oh master of the wood and grain (Chippy = Gedditt!? :D  ) if that doesn't explain it...then you really are in deep shyte as is the rest of those with no grasp of that which occurs slightly beyond the envelope of reality...

:D  :? :banghead: :suicide:

I hope we really give them a time.

After defeat to Chelsea, and dropping out of the Champions League, it will probably be a fired up Man City.

Massive fixture with huge implications for both teams. An Arsenal win puts us "back in the title race" (I say it loosely); a Man City win returns them to their somewhat feared reputation.

Can't hide my excitement, one of the biggest games in a while. Just hope we're ready for it; our sideback situation is going to be a challenge.

Will be interesting if Mancini gives Nasri another chance to prove himself, or if he holds him back after he fell apart last time he was at the Em's.
