Milan Travel etc

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We will be wearing our yellow kit. We both got Fly Emirates too on our shirts so we wont be wearing that on the shirt out in Milan either. What was it last time ' Dubai '

Yeah I remember that. Against Hamburg we had 'Dubai' on our shirt.

buzzing for this trip! Staying at the Crowne Plaza near Linate airport. On a freaking tight budget though so could be a case of getting a few too many tinnies in a shop in Duomo Square!

First Away Trip

Post by TopGunner14 »

Fellow Gooners,

This will be my first away trip for an Arsenal match and looking forward to it. Will be in the Away section, but have to pick up my tix at the box office as us North American gooners were warned that the tix may not make it on time. Luckily I am going to the Blackburn game and will pick them up then.

One question, one of my best mates is coming with to this match, but he is a Milan fan, how will my fellow Gooners take his presence in the away section? Of course, he should get stick and be reminded he is amongst the Arsenal, but no need to chance personal safety.

In fact this trip is happening cause upon the draw he sent me a txt simply saying "Milan, Feb 15, we are going", and now we are spending Concorde money to make the trip.

Probably better he doesn't make his allegiances known during the game.

If he wears colours or vocally supports his team, he probably deserves a kicking, and will most likely be thrown out and arrested.

He must be a real Milan fanatic if he gets a ticket in the away end for a home game

 Unlikely. I doubt there will be many Gooners willing to "dish out a kicking", particularly in an Italian stadium. Thrown out? Possibly if he's going over the top. Arrested? Only if he's setting off a shit load of pyro or something...

I'm assuming this guy actually has a brain, in which case he'll be fine if he uses his common sense. Keep colours covered, don't wind anyone up...
