To be fair, I hate going into a shop/restaurant/pub and the assistant is moany or rude. Winds me up instantly. A smile and manners don't cost a thing.

Can understand nevout's frustration but I guess it's
tinged with a bit of kicking himself that he didn't
ask re the tokens before he started.

I went there recently and well its not the best
place but its ok...good quick service (unlike some
places where the staff fuck around) and the price?
well its around £3 or more for a guinness so say
£6 then a couple of quid for the extra service.

as nevout said theres prob plenty of places
where you dont have to pay but there isn't
a place ive been in that shows live footbal
where there hasnt been a group of people
sharing one coke
