Why? If he's not doing the DM role properly and we have better attacking midfielders in the squad, then why would we miss him? :? :?

Give him away for nothing. A symbol of how bad we are. I cannot stand the sight of him. Seeing the back of Song would soften the blow of losing Van Persie.

asrsenalnewsreview.co.uk just posted that Song deal was done today.

I am a Coquelin fan (ooh matron) so I see it as good business and a forward move.

Alex Song reportedly told Arsène Wenger: "if you keep me, I'm not going to play", so Wenger has decided that Song can leave for Barcelona

Yeah! that's why Barca want him, cos he's fukking shite  After all what would their coaching, scouting and management team know? they've won fuck all. :banghead:
I have never met a fan of another club, heard a tv pundit nor read an article by a football journalist, say that Song was anyhting other than a top midfielder who is crucial to Arsenal.
So I would have to suggest that it is the Song critics on here, who know "feck all about the game they profess to love and follow". Either that or they are so blinded by prejudice that they not only talk, but also see through their fukking arses.
Song is only 24 and coming to the peak of his career, Barca obviously see that, and I for one will be fukking gutted if we lose him to the Barca whores.
Barca do make mistakes sid,They bought Helb after all and where did he end up?Birmingham

Anything over £10m and i would carry our non-defensive midfielder to the Camp Nou.I wonder what Cesc thinks about it having left us to get away from the usless :censored:

And totally agree with you about Walcott. That would make my year. But instead he will be held up as our 'big name' player. How depressing it all is.

I really do despair.
RvP being given the armband in the final friendly when it was obvious to Wenger that he was going. Good business as it was, giving him the armband smacks of disrespect to the supporters.
Song being linked with, and then apparently demanding a move to the Whores.
Wenger saying that RvP has already been replaced.
Whatever next? Theo to Chelsea and Ox to City?
It really makes me ask myself what rabbit can they possibly pull from the hat in order to secure the following season's season ticket revenue?
I am trying to remain in a positive frame of mind, and it will be interesting to listen to Wenger's philosophy at the end of the transfer market. If the club fails again this year then it HAS to be the end of him.

Yes, we'd be weaker if we sold him but I think the hope is that if we sell Song, we'll go out and replace him with a proper holding midfielder. Whether Wenger would do that or not is anyone's guess... personally, I think he would.
