Arsenal v Sunderland match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The contrary. We've both expressed opinions on Wenger. You have called me names because you don't agree with me. Let's cut the abuse. Once you apologise we can move on. Deal?

you're living in a dreamworld
go speak face to face and dispute somebodies integrity as a fan
then abuse their football team like you do here
being called a prick is pretty much your best case scenario

stop behaving like a prick and you wont hear it so often

back to the game - COME ON YOU RIP ROARING REDS!!!

Honesty is always the best policy. Let Arsene know that.

Can you girls stop the personal abuse. It's likely to lead to warnings.

some newbie who's established nothing beyond his ignorance implies I'm not a sufficiently 'hardcore' fan as I'm on holiday
'prick' is a spectacularly lowkey response

you're seriously suggesting a libellous accusation of criminal theft by our manager just gets quietly removed
but calling a prick a prick is likely to result in a 'warning'??

Jesus Christ - I find it astonishing how precious people have been getting on here recently.

"Waaaaah, he called me names",

"OMFG, you called the manager A CRIMINAL!!!, I'm telling teacher!",

"ner-ner, you don't go to every single game - that makes you a shit fan. Not like me - I'm a super fan, ner ner!"

and "boo-hoo, you questioned my integrity as a fan".

Lads - relax. Please. It's an internet forum. It isn't that important.

SantaPoldi - HighburyJD called you a prick because that superfan bullshit is hallmark behavior of a prick. Yeah, I know, you shouldn't go around name calling on here, that's true, but if you're going to act like a prick, don't be surprised if someone calls you on it (see Chris Rock for clarification on this).

HighburyJD - Cool it with the crusade to crush any WOBs (or whatever the acronym is). By all means, say whatever you want to say, but now whenever Babatunde posts, we're all waiting for the inevitable HighburyJD follow-up post where you quote each individual line and correct him like a school teacher. Now, in essence there is nothing wrong with that - but you're becoming like some anti-Babatunde, which might sound ideal to you, but it can actually get tiresome after a while. I know you have some previous with him (was it him accusing you of being racist? I forget now) but let it go man. You don't like him - we get it. You want to express that - that's fine. Just don't express it by acting exactly like him!

Oh, and can I just say - I found all of that "mods, mods, please take down that horrible, illegal thing Babatunde said," pretty nauseating if I'm honest. Not that I'm any Babatunde apologist, but come on man, that's like Rivaldo getting hit by the ball in his knee and going down holding his face. I am aware of the real reason why you made a big deal out of that (see my hazy knowledge on your previous with him), but it just left a really bad taste in my mouth. Two wrongs don't make a right and all that.

I don't know. I don't even care that much. Just trying to increase the peace a little. The more chilled out people here are, the less "modding" I feel like I have to do (even though I still do absolutely none) 8)

So, in close, JD & SPoldi - nothing personal. Just cut out all the vendetta stuff, yeah?

Up the Arse.
