Cant blame any one player for that goal. If anyones at fault its Steve Bould for using zonal defending.
Zonal marking is like women. No place in football. FACT!

We're not out of this game by a long stretch but this is where a manager with a bit of tactical nous would try to capitalize on our collective dominance. Gervinho's having a stinker. Loathed as I am to say it, I'd be tempted to throw Walcott down the middle as City won't exactly park the bus. I'm surprised at how well Ramsey has played. I think that the way he, Santi and Podolski have been combining for our counter attacks has been excellent so I would think twice about changing that.

However, Wenger will keep it the same and only make changes around the 70th minute - at which point this game could be done and dusted. It's a shame because we are more than holding our own and definitely have the potential to get a result out of this game with just a little tweaking. Oh well. Who are we playing next week?

Shame the forums are over run by WUMmer's not matter what the topic. :banghead:

I thought it was a decent first half from us and one moment of stupidity led to the goal. Mannone :banghead:

Not over yet and we have opened them up a couple of times and we had the better chances. Hopefully we weill get it back and more in the 2nd half.

Walcott on - he's in my FF team :rubchin:
This game's not over yet. City isn't really convincing.

I must say that despite my hate for the player, Ramsey had a very good first half. Santi is a class above the rest. Gervinho's awefull first touch is costing us the game, but there's still one half to go, nothing's lost. I still think that generally we're outplaying them. We're being more dangerous than them.

Come on boys! Still 45min to go and there's place for a few goals! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Spot on...just a poor corner defending. We've been the better team. Come on Arsenal.....if we don't get back into it then I fear a Babatunde and Red Member tiresome shit fest.

Shame because overall we have looked good.
I might have to spell this out for a few folks so here goes: Arsene Wenger and Gazidis, sold the best striker in English football to a team that was already 19 pts ahead of Arsenal.
They made £24mil. In lieu, they decided to take a 35 goal striker, and replace him with a donkey from Montpellier.
I said this at the start of the season: this Arsenal team doesn't have enough goals in it. Sure, it'll look outstanding against Southampton etc...but it's shocking what Wenger did over summer.

The goalkeeping situation I mean how fucking hard is that to address?
Julio Cesar was virtually FREE. Bags of experience, solid and can do a job. Chesney had no business being number 1 at a club like Arsenal it's a joke. Mannone? We're those spells at Hull going turn him into Oliver Kahn?
Oh I forgot he's cheaper than investing though. Still we'll be on target for that 4th place trophy eh? Wonder what Cazorla makes of all this.... :rubchin:

A proper attacker on the end of that chance Gervinho, the new Eboue, had, it's 1-0 Arsenal and they can soak up pressure and counter. Pathetic.

Such a shame because we were the better side but familiar defensive frailties let us down for their goal.

Now this 2nd half is a test of this new look side, let's see what we're made of.

Ramsey had a very decent first half and I'm usually first to slate him.
However our "genius" manager has decided to keep the new Eboue on. Ah well least he speaks French and knows Ligue 1 eh?

Totally agree with TS. A manager with tactical insight would push Theo on, or Ox, put more pressure in Zabaleta, who has creaked when run at, and turn it around.
Sadly, the Arsenal manager is a clown and a muppet.

Mancini not afraid to make half time changes. Thats what top managers do. Pity we dont have a top manager.
Oh yea - I forgot - "Blame the board. Its not Wengers fault"
