FRIMPONG: TO BE SOLD or GO ON LOAN?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

DEEEEEEENCH.

The Arsenal equivalent of Rio Ferdinand, a wannabe Twitter celeb. Doesn't have the brains or talent to make it at the top level. Was a bit more "bulky" than some of our other midfield options & liked to throw himself into tackles alot, hence why he was suddenly declared to be the new Gilberto.

Sadly, I expect Wenger to persist with him for a few more years yet. Will end up at Peterborough, Leicester or somewhere similar in approximately 3 to 4 years.

He can't be an equivalent to Ferdinand because that would mean he has achieved something in the game such was winning trophies, which he never will.

I retract all of my references to Palace as of their promotion to the premiership.

I wouldn't bother, mate. They'll be in Division 2 in "approximately 3 to 4 years" and your point will still be relevant! :barscarf:

And FrimpSong will deffo be with them. On their bench. Dench on the bench, if you will...

He's not up to the task - he's far from it.

My sister is a Charlton season ticket holder.

She was excited when Frimpong joined them thinking that an Arsenal player would help in their push for the play-offs / promotion. Within a very short space of time she couldn't stand him saying what an arrogant useless tosser he is!!

Says it all that he didn't even make an impression in Division 2

FrimpSong for me epitimises EVERYTHING that is wrong with so many young modern era footballers. They sign a contract and think they have now been successful and start concentrating more on their image/twatter/merchandising/TV/stupid slogan/acting gangsta etc and the actual football bit becomes secondary to them.

We need to go back to young players getting paid fuck all, cleaning senior pro's boots, earning their contracts and getting decent money ONLY after proving on the pitch they are worth it.

FrimpSong and his Dench bollocks, Bendtner and his pink boots... gobshites. :x

I think it's natural when these youngs players get a chance in the first team that we wish them well and look for the positives.
With Frimpong it was "he's strong, gets stuck in etc..", but when you step back to consider things, he's got very limited talent and a shit attitude. Get shot of him to anybody who'll take him.
