But in all honesty I asked you earlier why don't you show the banner next time you're over? It's unfair to criticise these lads and call them names for not doing something you won't do yourself!
TBH, I wouldn't show it either, even though I agree 100% with message. Too many "variables as to what the outcome and repercussions might be, in the current climate at The Conglomerates/Death Star...
Arsenal public relations/media investigators, whatever you want to call them, are actively monitoring this forum. Saying who has the banner, where the banner will be shown, anything of that sort on this public forum, will get you kicked out of the Wengerdome before you even have a chance to show it. Think about the way private investigators track I.P addresses and details of film and music torrents and you will have an idea of what can happen.
I would suggest this stays as a reaction thread because discussing plans for the banners unveiling on here is a bad, bad idea.
I thought they would keep an eye on the various Arsenal forums - just to gauge public opinion/trends/feelings etc, but if this is true and I am sure it is then we need to fight fire with fire...Okay DB get yer truck, yer 12 gauge and the 10 sacks of lime, flash get yer tractor with the big digger thing on the front....I'll bring my chainsaw....SWL you bring the sarnies! ..Herd you can go look out and keep the other TWO SPARE BANNERS Ready ...just in case

Bollocks DB ,Ive never been a Wenger out Now person,but these people have been .
I challenged such people on here over 3 years ago to do something and wound them up to the point when they made a banner.
Then came the hand wringing as the rich kid didn't want to get thrown out of club level (asif) !

Well before you leave for your week-end shin dig, could you get a couple of your employees to run off a few hundred (cheap as fuck) banners ...so we can all take one then!

I put £20 towards it expecting and hoping to help hold it up and from the beginning I've been actively trying to get the banner shown. I've posted on the open forum of my willingness to show it. I've texted SWL and met him in person. I've went to games expecting to get my hands on the banner but to no avail.
More recently I have asked to take the responsibility from SWL and for him to give me the banner so I can organise getting it shown. (I have most of these conversations on PM. But I've also posted in the open forum of my desire to get this banner up.)
So far I havent been able to persuade him get the banner up and he doesn't seem to want me to have it either. I have asked him to give me the banner so I can then have it in my possession and can then organise getting it shown. He wont "relinquish control" - (his words).
I'm trying to gauge what other members who contributed think of me getting the banner now. So far I have tracked down and contacted 5 other forum members who hav given their money in good faith to have this banner shown. They are all happy that its time for me to have it now.
It would be very easy to get another identical banner and show it but so many put their money in I really feel that is really not right.
I have been working behind the scenes to get my hands on the banner as I didn't want all the publicity like last time but I feel people need to know what has happened to this banner as so many (like me) paid and pinned their hopes on it.
So there you go...........thats where I'm at.
Armchair dont get me wrong mate but didnt you say you'd never been to a game due to cost etc? but in this post above you said you have been to games, which one is it? and if youre not a go-er then how do you expect to show it when you get the banner?
I know SWL has had some shit over this from fellow Gooners and ive spoken to him about it, so i dont blame him at all for not showing it. I know Herd hasn't wanted Wenger out so this isnt aimed at him but there seems to be loads of people urging it to be shown and when asked if they want to do it there seems to be more excuses flying about as to why they cant

You asked me for it the week before Tottenham home, with no concrete plan to show it at a defined game.
For me to give it to you then without you giving me a sensible plan for you to show it would be ridiculous - how could I be sure you hadn't gone totally mad and were hoping to show it at the Derby?
