I think we may see a record Champions League scoreline in this one. 9-0 anyone? If Bayern really turn it on...

Hey Barca broke a CL record by overturning a 2-0 from the first leg without an away goal. Surely we can do the same.

After all the circumstances are similar right?

No snow just a bit rain today but I think even that only in some parts of the city.. not sure about tomorrow as some of our weather services say it'll snow and some say just cold without rain or snow. You never know what to expect :barscarf:

apparently the deluded one is going to rest Cazorla and walcott so they dont get "jaded" aginst the swans.(they been resting for 10 days now)
The irony is those 2 + Wilshere was rested against blackburn in the FA cup (the only chance for silverware) just for the CL game did not help them mutch the 2 of them were below bar that game. So when swansea kills the hope of 4place throphy come saturday, will he rest them for the remening games of the season so they are fresh for the emirates cup :banghead:

If the manager & club can't be bothered, then why should the fans?

Wilshere injured? Out for "only" 3 weeks? My arse - we will not see Jack again this season. And mightn't even see him next season - if Manure or someone throws a bid at our money-hungry "club".

Flappy looks like getting the nod tonight. Disasters. :worried: Chesney has been ranging from average to absolute shit all season but Flappy??!! A "mentally fatigued" Chesney with one arm and a blindfold on would still be better than Flappy ffs!

Comfortable 4-0 to Bayern tonight.

DB Wilshere has been in Dubai since last week and not for medical reasons, the fact he didn't even return to England means the manager has given him a pass and he will show up after Swansea !

As Mr Lydon said famously once "ever felt like you've been cheated ?"

A quote from you Herd, hope you dont mind me quoting it..... What is the fucking point? We dont try to win it and tonight the travelling fans who have paid well over £500 i would imagine are getting shafted so we can get the top 4 virtual trophy

You can use what you want but whats your point ?
He has decided to rest players as he feels we cannot win , I dont agree with that ,and ?

My Original point was that you should go as far as you can go in all competitions so I haven't a scooby why u are quoting me back u cut and paste prick !

 Youre trying too hard Herd.......

The point i was making and i wasn't having a dig at you, you were the last poster to make the point which is why i quoted you..... Anyway back to what i mean. Personally i dont care about the European Cup we sell our best players each summer so never truly compete and so get knocked out against the first meaningful opposition and to the point now when people are paying (i would guess) over £500 for a trip that the manager takes the piss out of them by playing a reserve team...... This is why its not worth being in this shit bloated competition im sure its exciting for the finance fans of course though so maybe not so farcical?
