Everton at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just thinking the very same thing - I know that we rarely fill stadium anymore but even by anyone's standards that is a lot of empty seats

Quote from the BBC Website -
Lawrence Houldsworth: "Shame to see Gervinho on the bench - he's looked a different player of late."
You been watching the same games as the rest of us, Lawrence????

For the second time Fellaini gets skinned and resorts to fouling his man with no intention or hope of getting the ball. Unsurprisingly referee lets him get away without a booking. If a combative player like him picks up a yellow early doors as well it affects the way they play.

Tbf the second "foul" was a case of laces getting caught up on the players boot

Ah right, fair enough then. Although if you steam in and then get skinned then you run the risk I guess. Just saying I wouldn't be surprised if he has to make 7 or 8 fouls (a few unpunished) before getting booked.

We're struggling to deal with their hard pressing game, still early doors but Wilshere still looks miles off the pace.

From BBC Football Website on Twitter
Alex Williams: "Can't help but think that if Arsenal had Bendtner they'd be challenging the Manchester clubs, rather than Everton."
