DVD has done no better than twitchy. Technically he's done worse. They've scored less and conceded more but he got lucky in inheriting a player who decides to hit too form at the right time. Take him out of their squad and they are about west brom's level.

Its a bit like Groundhog season- we always do just enough to get in the CL next year and earn the big bosses their payday. We are now closer to the bottom than we are to the top.

Standards in the league are most definitely dropping but we are marginally less shit than what the Spuds or the bin dippers have become. This is the trophy we always look to win and even though we often flirt with missing out on it we will once again be going through the motions in the CL next year.
