As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

When you've lost games 8-2 and been knocked out of the domestic cups by Bradford and Blackburn I doubt there's any shame left.....might as well give Wigan the guard of honour
why bow to fucking wigan? we routinely beat them home and away and their in relegation dogfights every year for a reason. they might have won the FA Cup for the first time ever but we've won it ten fucking times. they're not going to be in the premier league next year and we probably won't see them again for some time.

Cos they won a trophy and I mean an actual trophy as opposed to a fictitious one That they did so on a meagre budget, without any real star players, without complaining about being unable to compete with the mega wealthy clubs and that they actually had to have some semblance of a tactical gameplan to win it deserves nothing but respect from all football supporters and I for one tip my hat off to them
That Martinez has actually won a trophy now should reduce the amount of people on here slating him for barely keeping Wigan up every season and I say that knowing that they will be relegated in 48 hours

So everone on this forum would still love Wenger if he won the FA Cup this year
Don't think so, everyone would be saying "it's just the FA Cup, who gives a fuck about that".
Martinez deserves a hell of a lot of credit for winning the FA Cup with a side of that quality and a club of that size, resources and ambition. His stock should rightly rise somewhat.
But I don't think he was getting slated per se Augie. I think some people were trying to put the achievement of keeping Wigan up for which he is continually lauded in perspective. I think it's fair enough for people to point out that Wigan generally stayed up comfortably with far higher league finishes in their 4 PL seasons before him, and also question why Wigan are absolute turd for 90% of the season.
Well, safe to say I'll be watching this one as more than merely an interested neutral
I'm hoping for a nice comfortable Arsenal win where you go 3 up in about half an hour but, sadly, I think its destined to be a tight affair. Wigan know that they pretty much have to win (if they draw they stay 3 points behind SAFC but us having an 11 better goal difference would screw them unless Spurs really destroy us next weekend) so that might play into Arsenal's hands right enough. For all Wigan did well in the cup final they're pretty woeful defensively so hopefully you can create and take a few chances against them. Good luck lads, hope you beat them and finish up ahead of Spurs

Hopefully Newcastle will secure a win this weekend to save themselves so we don't have to endure 90 minutes of panic on the last day.
I'm lucky enough to be going to the Newcastle game and I'd rather be there enjoying it than shitting myself!
Where did you reappear from motherfucker??!!
Sorry been busy lately.............................fucking your mother
We should win this, gut if we are to blow it next weekend then I would prefer we lost this, to give Wigan a chance of staying up ahead of Sunderland and the self-indulgent attention seeking Di Canio.
