Buy back Cesc Fabregas, or let Man Utd buy him?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

you think he should go to ManUre?
Frank - you're simply letting hatred consume you.
Cesc wouldn't go there because he's a Gooner
and yet you think he should...
isn't that a worry? Take a break mate.
You express more hate for the Arsenal than any Sperz or Chelski fan I know

It's a no brainer, if he wanted to come back then we have to sign him, he's quality, no ill feelings when he left and no grudges harboured with me, unlike a certain Dutch c'ant

You don't know me, you've never met me but can judge me like that, your blind alliance to Wenger and the club does you no favours either, or your pompous attitude!

How naive to say that just because ''he's a Gooner'' he wouldn't go there, perhaps it's you who should take a day off!

I don't know you Frank but you sound very angry
and you post a lot of fantastic imaginary situations that just anger you further
you say online that you don't want us to win trophies, I find it a little hard to believe,
clearly you care about the club but at the moment you're only letting it upset you
may well be an online venting process, as you said I don't know you

Don't think you're right that I always back the club or the manager
both get lots wrong but would be silly to suggest either get nothing right,

I'd have Cesc back in a heartbeat,

We need more world class quality players, he is one and he already knows the club/style of play.

Would be well chuffed if we re-signed him. As others have said though, I think he'll stick it out at Barcelona until Xavi retires or takes more of a backseat.

Anyone with half a brain and an ounce of ambition would snap him up if available, which is why he'll end up at United ahead of us.

I'm sure when the Mancs have finished with him when he's 36 he'll come back though

personally don't believe Cesc would sign for ManUre
whether he stays at Barca will prob be more dependent on Villanova than him
if Thiago is ahead of him in the pecking order he will surely consider leaving

Anyone that thinks Cesc wouldn't go to Manure purely out of love and respect for his beloved Arsenal is either delusional, doesn't have a clue about modern footballers or has been in a coma for the duration of the RVJC betrayal/transfer saga!!  :|

TBh, I think Cesc has had the time now to "rinse" The Arsenal out of him. He's at the biggest club in the world, and it's not going great for him. Gone ok, but not great, but still more successful than his time at Arsenal. The Manure filthy crunts can offer him the probability of sustained success and a huge wage.

It comes down to what really motivates him. Stay at The Whores and fight for his place and maybe become a true legend at his home club? But is their time as the big dogs now coming to an end? Will there ever be a generation of players there again like Messi, Xavi, Iniesta etc? Does Cesc go for the big money at somewhere like The Filth? Go for the probability / possibility of sustained success?

Ferguson leaving would probably impact on the last two. I can't see him leaving the Whores but wouldn't be surprised at all if he did go to Manure or the chavs. Modern football is all about money first, glory second and fuck loyalty. :|
