Well good luck to them. Enjoy it...but I will bet my life savings they won't win it...quarter final at best.

That's the level they are at, even with Bale. As good as villas boas is, they will not be able to get the really big players as they can't compete with the wages and transfer funds of Europe's elite. Monkey boy will give them next year because of champs league then he will be off.

With how utterly crap our team has been this season, we've done well to still be in the hunt for the VT

They are shit, had lots of luck recently.
I hope we win our last two, and put them back in the Europa.
I'll be over the moon, if we finish 4th.

It would actually suit us better if Wigan needed a win. They'd have no choice but to come at us. If they can come and get a draw, they'll just stick 10 men behind the ball and see the game out.

Ok I admit it I am gutted about the Stoke result but there was nothing we could do about it. Lets not also forget that the match against Sunderland is not a certain victory. True they will be heavy favourites I admit but not a foregone conclusion.

In a way this result and Wigans win against City may actually do some good for us. It means we can't take Wigan lightly no complacency. Newcastle will have nothing to play for either.

In short relax and see what happens on Tuesday.

Lukaku missing a sitter...bit lucky to me, Fulop playing as our 12th man last season, even more lucky. They've had luck so have we.

When the 5th place new virtual trophy is confirmed on Tuesday night it'll be because we threw away the 1st half against Utd away,Utd at home,Chavs home and away, threw a whole f**king game against Norwich.
It'll be because Poldi isn't a left sided attacker,Giruod isn't an RVP and most likely won't ever be and because AW should have swallowed his F**KING PRIDE and let Steve Bould do defence training ALL season. Look how tight it's been for the last 12 games. I doubt that's just by luck

Only good thing came out of this weekend games. Scum is going to win the last game at home. We can sneak a goal or two against bar codes. We are very capable of not conceding against this lot. Let us win Wigan game and qualify for CL.

Exactly - we were right jammy bastards during the run-in to the virtual trophy last year and we've had our moments this year too. A soft penalty when we were losing 0-1 to Norwich with ten mins or so left a few weeks ago was a key example, and QPR being relegated before we played them played into our hands....and the Geordies are also safe now for the last game.

People think Spurs are lucky because they keep scraping single goal victories, mostly down to Bale. We were doing the same thing week in, week out with Van Persie last year. Selective memories
