For some reason Spurs fans (on Glory Glory anyway) have this perception that our players are always up for the North London derby in contrast to theirs. No doubt Sherwood's "blood and thunder" comments were aimed at that. Media self-promoted extraordinaire, shit manager.

This is a fucking brilliant chance. We will certainly have to work our bollocks off if we're going to win this game and they won't make it easy for us but confidence there must be low. If we turn them over today it ends their season, and even a draw doesn't cut the mustard for them really.

Hopefully we'll reverse our habit of the last 2 seasons and not leave our one striker ridiculously isolated and cause very little trouble. We especially can't afford to do that without Walcott offering an alternative threat, if we play like that again we will lose today. Going over a mate's to watch the double header with a fair amount of beer, only way I can see myself making work tomorrow is a draw.

Possibly something to do with us having better players. It is an interesting perception though, especially since we usually draw at that shit hole despite having the better team. Or maybe it's not an interesting perception because they are, to a man, complete mongs.

We always start big games terribly, lets fucking kick it off big time, permanent pressure, building on possession, getting the ball out wide early, no pointless crossing and passing it around.
Chamberlain and Rosicky to start pleeeease

I pretty much agree with what merse said this morning.....whoever scores first will win and that's pretty much my prediction

There is no doubt that on paper we are miles better than them. There is no doubt that their confidence, and that of their fans, will be low. There is no doubt that their defence is slower than a snail on tranquilisers. BUT they are at home and we play with only 1 striker and he is as slow as their defence is  I also have no doubt that when the tackles are flying in we will be found wanting as our lightweights get bullied by the dirty c*nt that is sandro
Given our shocking record of 3 wins from 17 games in their shithole, we cant be overly confident even allowing for their poor form. Their scumbag fans will forgive them their recent poor displays if they turn us over today and their players will know that and will be suitably pumped up - we have to match that if we are to get anything from this game and if we score first then that place will go into meltdown.

This starts a big week for us and if we are to get just 2 more wins this season then I would want them to be today and against the chavs 8) COYG

I've always found that to be the most pointless prediction ever

It's basically saying, "ok, I have no clue who I think will win but when I know which team is winning, I'll go with them"

brilliant. Thanks for your "expert" view. :|

It's remarkably quiet on here for a NLD. I wonder if it still will be at 6pm......

I reckon it will be a really shit draw.

Glad to see Podolski in there, if there's one player who'll be up for this it'll be him. Would have preferred Flamini to Arteta though.

So am I but have you seen the bench, not even sure I counted 7 players, and only 1 player of attacking intent. If the players on the pitch can't do it, we have nothing and no one to change the game, nice one medical team :banghead: :banghead:

I feel positive about this. Looking at the teams, if we play well, we'll win.
