Norwich vs Arsenal (Carrow Road Climax)

Thought Diaby looked bright in his little cameo. Neat and tidy on the ball.

Looks like we got away with the aggressive team selection. Couldn't really have hoped for a better game to lead into a cup final. We didn't turn up for the first half hour but once we did it was probably like a training match against the U19s. They were absolutely dreadful. Class goal by Ramsey who had been pretty wasteful around the box until then, I was puzzled as to the exuberant celebration for the 2nd goal until I realised it was Jenko. Good on the lad :barscarf:

I am sure most of the older gooners will agree but to be in the FAcup final is a thing to treasure ! to win it is a fantastic plus the way it is ridiculed nowadays takes away some fantastic memories for me and some shit ones ( leeds 72 ) as a gooner for a very long time can I just say 4th in the league and the FA CUP final used to be a fantastic fucking season , my first season following home and away involved notts couny and other shit teams ( wolves underpass ) so lets not get above ourselves and end up like spurs lets just enjoy being a gooner and now and again we have a bit of success and remember we haven't bought the success ( although our Russian is richer than their Russian )
come on you rip roaring goal scoring kebab eating GOONERS this rant was brought on by a little bit of alcohol and a lot of nostalgia for the old days !!!!!!!

What? Why the fuck is he putting on a full team for a meaningless game A WEEK BEFORE THE FA CUP FINAL!

Sagna if he gets booked is suspended FFS! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

iT'S A POINTLESS GAME

WE LOSE WE GET 4TH, WE WIN WE GET 4TH

WE GET AN INJURY TO A 1ST TEAM PLAYER AND EVERYONE WOULD BE GOING FUCKING BALLISTIC

THERE'S NO NEED TO PLAY OUR FULL TEAM AS THEY'VE GOT A WHOLE SEASON OF PLAYING UNDER THEM AND A BREAK IS NOT GOING TO SURRENDER ALL FORM AND MAKE US LOSE TO HULL!

OH YEAH, WE WON :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Wenger denied Szczesny the chance to win the Golden Glove. Wonder if he'll start him in the final instead?

It wasn't going to be conclusive whoever he started today but I have a sickening feeling Flappy will play. I know that there are quite a lot of people on here who agree with that but for me it would be unforgivable and sum Wenger up.

If you'd been offered 79 points and an FA Cup final at the start of the season, would you have taken it?

Yes.

If we lose the Cup final though, and coupled with the way we collapsed in the league, it will be another season of massive disappointment.

We must win the Cup, no excuses.

Better than I expected so from that point of view, yes. Is it enough though? No, not with the way the season has panned out and the mistakes that continue to be made.

No doubt when the dust settles people will be pointing out that we were only 7 points off winning it and 4 points off Liverpool who everyone raved about but the reality is we were out of the race long before April came along.

Probably have exceeded expectations...but next weekend is key!!!!!

And I can really see us being significantly stronger next season...providing everyone stays fit, and with a couple of key signings in the summer (fingers firmly crossed!). I can't see Liverpool doing as well again, and Everton should drop away once their loan signings leave. Spurs will be Spurs...United have little money to spend... So I can see us more firmly embedded in top 3, but who knows...!
