He's spent more than that and they are shite. By his own words their current position is not acceptable and he is failing.

Not only that, but he slated the scum's decision to buy several players from the monkey boy sale money, and argued that it couldnt work - fast forward 12 months and he has done the very same thing and had the very same results. What they needed to do was to spend 40m of the suarez money on a top top striker but they have found that it is very hard to convince top players to join if they see you as a selling club that is unable to hold onto their best players (a feeling that we know all too well :cry: ). Replacing quantity with quality was never gonna work and I thank good for stevie me's balls up that cost them the league 8) :barscarf: :barscarf:

Rodgers said he picked the team in Madrid to win the game..Souness asked last night if they were playing Real Madrid in the final would that be his team. One point I didn't understand was the one that stated on Sky that " the Liverpool fans had spent their hard earned money to get to Madrid " :D :D
