Ah ok, doubt we'll see him again this season in that case.

Apart from the tv interview when he claims Wenger bullied him into playing out of position, and through injury.

with 10 injuries we are now top tha league

10 players injured in 11 games .

from the Mail : 892 injuries in 12 seasons.

nice to see the papers finally picking this up.

looks like back four of gibbs, per, chambers, bellerin going forwards.
Diaby has a hip issue.

so we are actually down 11.

40% of our first team squad are not available.

ARSENE KNOWS. NOTHING.....

I thought parts of the article from Cross were actually quite damning, especially the last couple of paragraphs considering Cross's "Wenger knows best" stance, this quote in particular stood out for me...
"The decision not to buy more players for the squad was ultimately Wenger's. And that decision is being felt at the club on many levels, particularly when it comes to injuries."
For a journo who is so far up Wengers backside he wouldn't dare question anything he does, he has been surprisingly forthright in this article... Bet the :censored: won't be anywhere near as forthright at Wengers next press conference, by this time next week he would of conveniently forgotten all about it.

Knowing that Sagna was going, the decision to let Vermaelen and Miquel leave plus Jenkinson on loan.....whilst bringing in a 19 year old with 16 PL games to his name plus Debuchy.....is just rank bad judgement and management. There can be no excuses for a team going out to Dortmund in mid-September with Bellerin at right back

He said he would sign a CB 'certainly' if Vermaelen left - he then chose to sell another. This is why the man has to leave, and has had to ever since he left the 08/09 team break up....because he repeats the same mistakes over and over again.

I don't blame him for all the injuries but I certainly blame him for the repeated failure to add sufficient strength to the squad. Back in 08 he ripped the heart out of the CDM position by letting 3 players leave in six months, he spent ages fucking about with 3 shit keepers, and last season had us exposed to Giroud all season because Barry Bender and Postman Yaya were his only other options. Now we are the only top PL team to have 2 CBs and 1 backup who is mainly a RB. Once he fills that position after 3 years, another gap will emerge and the cycle will repeat.

Its like watching the Three Stooges tread on the same garden rake year after year

Good news on Ramsey, supposedly only a week away from a return to training:

“For Ramsey it’s day 13 today (Thursday) and I think it will be day 21 before he is back into training".

The current injuries make the decision to let Sagna leave look incorrect.
Even with the purchases of Debuchy and Chambers, Sagna could have been very useful as right back cover and centre back cover.
And perhaps even played a Makalele type role in midfield?
