VILLA HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We should be more than 1 up - I hope this doesn't come back to bite us in the butt :?

Players are linking up really well - Coquelin having a solid game - just needs to watch going to ground....

Exquisite touch/lay off by Ozil for Giroud's goal....Wally should have done better on the break...But we are defending well and hassling them in mid-field very well

That goal was taken tremendously by Ozil, very difficult finish from that distance/angle. Most players would just try and leather it there. He has been uncharacteristically wasteful in possession imo today but two moments of real quality.

We know that he has excellent technical ability, ball retention and vision. Lovely to see him converting it into goals and assists, long may it continue.

This could turn into a bit of a bumfucking here if we fancy it.

Yeah if he's our 'Alexis replacement' then well? Thought him pretty anon in 1st half - love to see him set loose like Alexis

Quality goal by Walcott, which was all started off by Ospina's throw - no way would SZEZCZHEZNEZY have had the vision to do that.

Think we have to cut Ozil and Theo some slack, 3 or more months out for Ozil and a year for Wally, you cant expect perfection right away. Im warming to Ozil though some supurb touches, and he looks a little less cant be arsed at the moment :?

Great game though for a warm up prior to the Scummers at the swamp.

Gif link for Ozil goal, which he took far better than Girouds, but to both their credit weve seen many misses one on one, especially with defenders coming in.

And Wallys

Sorry cant seem to link them right onto here, I don't have 1989s skill or optimism :barscarf:
