England have taken a wicket.
Broad sends one down to Rogers (who survived the earlier drop by Root) which catches the edge and is caught by Bell a second slip. He doesn’t walk though as he seems to think the ball was grounded, but replays show it was legit.
Rogers goes for 10, Smith in now.

Warner goes to a rather streaky 50 with a single from the bowling of Stokes. He’s been worked over pretty well but he’s still there with Smith (22).
Good morning for Australia.

Massive wicket!
Right before lunch Warner has been dismissed lbw by Ali for 52. Clarke will be the next man.

Broad strikes right after lunch!
He sends one down to smith who can do nothing but wave his bat at it and edge it to Bell, who takes another smart catch.
Smith goes for 33, Voges is the new batsman.

Broad strikes again, and it’s the captain Clarke who goes for four.
Clarke tries driving at a full Broad delivery but can only pick out Stokes at cover who takes an easy catch. Watson should be in next and Australia are in trouble.

England strike again.
Wood bowls to Voges who edges a simple chance to Buttler behind the stumps. Australia are in deep shit now.
Voges goes for one.

Australia are 106 - 5 chasing 412 and it looks like I won't be invading Norway after all.

Cook introduces Ali back into the attack and it brings immediate rewards as Haddin scoops one to Cook at mid-wicket/mid-on/wherever, where he takes it at the second attempt.
Haddin out for seven and Mitchell Johnson up next.
Aus 122 – 6.

Watto given lbw for the 974th time in test innings. He’s reviewed immediately but I reckon Wood has him plumb.
Third umpire agrees and Watson waddles off for 19.
Aus 151 – 7.
Starc is in next and I reckon England will be looking to win this tonight.

Aus have rallied somewhat now, with Mitchells Johnson and Starc adding some useful runs.
Johnson has just gone to 50 and Starc has 17. England will be desperate to break this partnership ASAP and expose the tail.
Aus 203 - 7.

Wicket.
Cook changes the bowling by bringing Root into the attack, and Johnson responds by smacking him all over the park to go past 70.
In his next over though he catches the edge of Starc’s bat and the ball spoons to cook, who fumbles, but the ball is grabbed by Lyth who gratefully holds onto the ball. Starc goes for 17 and Aus are 8 wickets down now.
Aus 224 – 8.
