Victlms fc at home Sun 14th August

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yay! Really must try and say hello this season.

I've tried to work out who you might be on occasion. Think you said one row from back near middle?

:barscarf:
On the numerous occasions when the STs I know can't make it, that's where I'll be. Reckon the first 2 defeats to Liverpool and Leicester and you'll see me there in early September :D
Will you only get to go if they've thrown their toys out of the pram post defeat? I'll keep half an eye on fixture threads here and jump in the first time I see you say you're going to arrange to buy you a beer or bag of minstrels at half time or something.

The captain situation is embarrassing. A long run of want-aways, mediocrity and crocks since TA6.

Seeing as TOF has been addicted to signing spineless shite for almost a decade now, it's only natural we have an absolute lack of leadership in the squad. As TOF is all about himself and his power, he might as well name himself captain; seeing as he's the most useless bastard in the ground on matchday. It seems like the players are banned from expressing any independent thought, let alone talking to each other on the pitch.

What a rudderless, leaderless mess we've become.
Theo will lead the line & the team to glory !! :barscarf: :barscarf:

I think Gunnersaurus would make a decent captain. 8)

I mean, if the only other option is a gigantic German coward... :rubchin:

Or maybe Inanimate Carbon Rod. Where is he? Has he gone out on loan or something? :rubchin:

At least you see Gunnersaurus more on the pitch than our past captains... :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

It's being reported that Gunnersaurus was injured waving at the fans. AW has said that the injury is not as bad as feared and he should be back on the pitch as soon as the next ice age finishes.

In the meantime our bid of three quid for a medium-size gecko has been rejected by Dave's Fish & Reptile Emporium, who pointed out that the price tag clearly states five quid. It is not known if AW will return with an improved offer.

Wanting us to get a tonking at the hands of those bindipping scouse rats just to get one over on the senile old c*nt in charge? Sort it out.
At this stage, I don't judge anyone who wants us to lose, in order to get one over on that wanker in charge. I want us to win every game, but we all know that we are playing for the VT, and fuck all else.

I'll never understand it. I despise Wenger but we don't call him Teflon Wenger for nothing. It does not make one bit of difference if we lose as he will not resign and won't ever be sacked. So it's odd when we have people wanting us to get a spanking by those scouse vermin because they think it will put pressure on Wenger. It won't.

Agreed 100% and I've said it for years on here. Wenger decides when Wenger goes.

I hope we smash the shit out of the Victims. 8)
