Potential Takeover

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You wouldn’t discuss it in an interview if you weren’t confident that it will happen.

I want rid of Kroenke but I'm no more enamoured of this guy than the African gent whose name escapes me. The problem is as I see it we really need someone who understands football, not as a fan, not as an ex-player not even as a Director of football. The richest clubs in England have become to playthings of the rich and have to differing degrees lost touch with what football is all about. I dont see some remote owner with other business interests being able to really spend the time learning how it works and really getting involved. Basically itll be another Kroenke situation with a stay away owner who turns up for the 'big' games occasionally who might if he feels like it spend a bit of his own cash :rubchin:

KSE statement: “In recent days we have noted media speculation regarding a potential takeover bid for Arsenal Football Club. We remain 100% committed to Arsenal and are not selling any stake in the Club. We have not received any offer and we will not entertain any offer.

“Our ambition for Arsenal remains to compete to win the biggest trophies in the game and our focus remains on improving our competitiveness on the pitch to achieve this.
Stan Kroenke and Josh Kroenke, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.”

Arsenal football club is dead.

Relegation is probably our only chance of getting rid of the *word censored*

It's nice to have interest in the club from a human being particularly one that actually likes football and the club but unfortunately the cancer kroenke will not sell and so we'll be a mid table team for the time being.

The Mail claim senior #Arsenal chiefs were aware of an interest & incoming offer for the club in advance of the official European Super League announcement on Sunday, 18th April - & even discussed it on matchdays this month.

The incoming offer from Ek is set to fall under the clubs' £2bn valuation & will almost certainly be rejected by #Arsenal’s current owner. It is unclear whether the Swede would be prepared to increase his bid if it is rebuffed. https://t.co/aaw4ItOI9U

It's dead in the water kids, like I think we all knew in our heart of hearts. :(

We are fucked under the wiggy parasite. Mid table mediocrity for years to come. Maybe decades.

And here’s why he’s not selling up...
🦏 He has a thick skin
💵 US capital gains tax is going up
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 He wants to keep it in the family
🎥 US investors think media rights are going to keep rising
🌎 The global fan will be monetised
