As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Hearing that Arteta is going to play Holding. He wants him to man mark the VAR up at Stockley Park. Two footed challenge to be made if he sees anything dodgy about to happen.
Give it a rest Bob. I almost fainted when I read the first sentence!!
Spotted that on twitter this morning that partey might be out ,but it was only 1 tweet suggesting it ,so i didn't pay much attention to it
I saw it on Shewore earlier and it made no sense as it said he hasn’t travelled to Manchester. I checked this afternoon with the person I know and he’s out from what I am told.
Despite trying to be positive, I’m fearing the worst. Apart from the usual problem of Xhaka lumbering around and against this opposition getting more exposed than ever for the fraud that he is, we have nothing up front.
Eddie is simply not good enough and I doubt he’ll get a kick tonight. It’s clearly why the scum have a decent level of success against City...as long as they can keep it tight at the back, they have Kane and Son who can come up with a goal out of very little. We don’t have that, even with a fit Jesus. Hard to win trophies without a top level goalscorer.
Can’t see where our goals will come from.
The only positive goals wise is that City will attack more than most sides that visit the Emirates so we might get a few gaps to exploit. I really fear Arteta is going down the Wenger route in that the team stays the same no matter what. Should see Trossard in for Martinelli and in an ideal world Giorginho for Xhaka but at this rate Xhaka is deemed as undroppable by Arteta.
Yes, I seriously think that Xhaka is the first name on the team sheet, along with the keeper, who I hope City haven't realised is well iffy on crosses. If I were Haaland, I totally plague Ramsdale in the air at every opportunity.
I fully get the idea of resting Martinelli and playing Trossard, but imagine replacing Xhaka with Trossard and leaving Gabi out wide. It's not as though Xhaka offers anything defensively. Still more chance of me playing than of Xhaka being dropped.
Xhaka and Jorginho in centre mid. Fuck me. We'll be begging for Lokonga and Elneny to come back.
This was my worst nightmare when we bought the chav reject. Didn't think we'd see it this quickly and against the best side in the league. The happy pills can't cure this one.
I'd love us to win but just can't see it happening.
I can't bear seeing us lose so will watch until the first goal. If it's us (doubtful) I'll carry on but if they score I may have to find alternative viewing.
It's a bit too dark to be using LeftfootlegendGooner's drainage rods.

Crosses definetly Ramsdales weak point...although hes a very good shot stopper
If Partey is out would de a huge blow...apparently photographed in training yesterday
