MAY 12TH........ NATIONAL IGNORE PANCHO DAY!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Brazilian youngster Rodrigo Possebon sealed United's victory in the last minute with well struck drive at the Stretford End.
Nice to see they're all good young English boys. Not like Arsenal with their nasty little foreigners

Can anyone clarify this for me? Singapore? Is that an area of London? I know London pretty well having lived and worked there back in 1991 but I don't recall a Singapore... :?

Pancho, my point was that you are slating a man for living in ireland and supporting arsenal - he is happy to say where he lives yet you continue to joke about your location. Man utd are an american brand now, they just happen to be located in Manchester... for now.

On what basis would you expect us to think that statement is factual?

Seeing as you asked me directly, I will lower myself to answer you directly (you might learn from that).

I actually started following Arsenal in the mid 1970's. We lived in Australia and my old man (a real old school football man) pushed them on me as there was no proper football to watch out there (apart from the English 1st division on TV - that was before Sky for you) and, with all the Irish players coming through our ranks back then, it gave him an extra affinity for the Gunners.

If you (as a supposed manure fan) had any concept of irony or, indeed, knew anything about the PL you would realise that millions of foreign supporters follow English teams (again this is where you slip up geebag, if you'd ever been to old shatford you'd have realised that just from the hundreds of foreign accents around you).

The real point here is I don't pretend to be anything I'm not. Whereas you do. You are a fake. Why do you pretend to be a manc, pretend you're some sort of die hard manure fan since way back when etc etc when it is obvious to us all that you are from the south (London to be precise), know very little about football or what it is like to be a real supporter and only come on here to talk shite?

Also, if the beejesus, top of the morning gag is intended to insult (and I sincerely hope it is not), then you are also xenophobic (miss the Empire do we?) and borderline racist, which is just plain sad in this day and age...

And you have constantly been found to make stories up on here whereas I have not - the forum members that I have met (thats when you go to watch your team play and have a social gathering) will varify that I am indeed not 14 or Susan.

Not at all silly. You posted a dodgy remark, I challenged you on it.
I cant prove it can I , but yet you still bang on about my "credentials" yet your not even from here your self..
"here" being London... schoolboy error.... again...
I would wager I have been to Highbury more often than you
Possibly. it would be a hell of alot cheaper for a Londoner to go than a bloke from Dublin...

For the record; my first trip over was back in 1991 (the first year I could afford to go after the Irish recession). I then went to (on average) between 10 and 12 home games and 1 or 2 away (young and single) and at least one Euro trip a season up until 2002 when it tapered off to roughly 3 or 5 a season (Wife and kids, mortgage...). Only managed 3 trips last season and was raped on the exchange rate, hotel, airfare etc...

As for my credibility, I've met people from here at games (including Gooner Ed), I've posted photos of myself in THOF1 and THOF2, there are videos of me on youtube at games and on away trips (posted links on here) so my credibility is sound. Yours on the other hand... your lack of knowledge...

I also find it hilarious that you've gone to the trouble of creating this whole back story for yourself...

I KNOW YOU ARE FROM LONDON, MATE, I'M NOT GUESSING OR JUST TAKING THE PISS, I KNOW.

THINK ABOUT IT...
