These people, it would appear, do not know who Nicklas Bendtner is. It is rather sad to see that scouting standards have slipped so far in Italy. To accuse Nicklas Bendtner of being fat is an affront to all males on this planet. If Nicklas with his rippling muscle and Adonis like physique is fat, it makes you wonder what hope the rest of us have. Of course, one can largely disregard the opinion of "coaches" such as Angelo Alessio, a man who is a nonentity in the footballing world and who has somehow managed to get a coaching job at Juventus despite failing in his managerial attempts at such giants as Imolese, Massese and SPAL- for a coach of that "quality" to get a job he has obviously been keeping himself in shape by sucking the Juventus president's dick. Or maybe the comments come from the "head coach" (I will leave you to speculate on the meaning of "head" in this case, certainly I doubt Alessio needs any coaching in that regard) Antonio Conte, a cheat, a disgrace, a man so discredited and corrupt that his opinion doesn't even warrant hearing nevermind discussing.

And then we have Alessio Tacchinardi, one of the Juventus "legends". A man who despite somehow forging a career in top flight football has the audacity to claim that Nicklas Bendtner might not improve Juventus when, quite frankly, he was a joke of a footballer who was constantly overlooked by a succession of Italian managers. A man who won a "grand" total of 13 caps for his country over 8 years (unlike young Nicklas who already has, fittingly, 52 caps for Denmark), some legend. Only in a corrupt institution like Juventus could Tacchinardi have legend status bestowed upon him such was his lack of talent and for a man like him to abuse a footballer like Nicklas when he never had a tenth of his talent is quite simply laughable- just as well he won't say Bendtner is a bad footballer, I doubt Nicklas would be able to say the same if questioned about Tacchinardi's ability or lack thereof. Angelo Alessio, Alessio Tacchinardi, remind me never to name a child Alessio, I'd rather not curse it with a lifetime of being shit.

To me, it is obvious what has happened- the evil Chamakh has hatched a plan involving his sinister partner, Juventus, and he has convinced them to take Nicklas on loan in the hopes that they can systematically destroy his goodness and lead him down the path to corruption, leaving Chamakh free to represent Arsenal and cast a shadow of darkness over the footballing world. They have underestimated Bendtner however. Bendtner is incorruptable, he cannot be worn down and he cannot be driven from the path of the righteous by agents of the dark. Nicklas shall overcome the adversity in his way, he shall flourish even at an evil institution like Juventus and by doing so he shall prove that his spirit that embodies all that is good on this earth cannot be defeated by evil plans and corrupt clubs. When Nicklas returns to Arsenal he shall have destroyed the evil heart of Juventus and shall carry his light to the Emirates stadium where he shall once again quash Chamakh and send him back to his lair.

Juventus will soon discover that Nicklas is superior to their false idol Ibrahimovic and when they realise this, they will know their plan is foiled, it will be a fine day and by god I can't wait to witness it.

]Our Mackem friend is a little obsessed with the Bendy !

I'm rather surprised that within hours of his arrival he's already getting slagged off in Italy by people close to or actually part of the Old Lady set up .

I just hope he can make a good impression so we can actually recoup some dosh on him at the end of the term rather than the ongoing fiasco we have with lardshavin and denilson !

I still think he's better than Giroud but I hope Im proved very wrong !

Michael Laudrup wasn't as good a footballer as Bendtner to be fair. Comparing like with like, Laudrup was only deemed good enough to represent Denmark 104 times in his whole career (scoring 37 times, meaning he scored in 36% of games). Young Nicklas has already represented them 52 times and scored 20 times (scoring in 38% of games) so, with his best years ahead of him, Nicklas is well on course to outstrip Laudrup both in terms of appearances and goals. Laudrup has represented some decent sized clubs to be fair, but he's also represented KB, Brondby and Vissel Kobe so I wouldn't read too much into Bendtner's time with Birmingham (or 6th most successful club in Britain, Sunderland  ). They have now both been at Juventus, Laudrup scored 16 in 102 for them and I'm supremely confident that Bendy will better that shameful strike rate.

Now I grant you, Laudrup was more an attacking midfielder so it could be argued that goals scored is a misleading stat, but then Bendtner is a withdrawn striker, certainly not a target man type so their roles are similar, its just that at 24 years of age Bendtner already does it better than the second best ever Danish footballer Michael Laudrup. Laudrup was good, but he's had his best years and still doesn't compare favourably to a man who has his peak ahead of him so I wouldn't put him in Bendtner's class to be fair.

Preben Elkjaer is widely regarded in Denmark as the most popular striker Denmark have had in my lifetime ,the Laudrup brothers were brilliant but lost popularity after falling out with a coach and going on strike for the National team ,neither though were strikers .
The top scorer is Jon Dahl Tomasson ,Bendy will struggle to get to 52 goals simply because they Danes dont have the talent they did in the mid eighties to early nineties.

This will make you laugh......... :banghead:

Arsenal want Bendtner back, Arshavin to fight for his place.
'I believe in Bendtner' says Wenger, as Arshavin turns down move away from London.

SAY WHAT you like about Andrey Arshavin but the Russian striker has done what Robin van Persie failed to do and pledged his loyalty to Arsenal. According to ESPN, 31-year-old was approached by Dinamo Moscow on Thursday but rejected the chance to return to his homeland in order to “stay at Arsenal to fight for his place in the first team”.

Chances for Arshavin to recapture the form he first showed when he moved to the Emirates in 2009 have been limited in recent months, but he still believes he can win back his place in the starting XI. "I wanted to add this player to the team, but Andrey said no to Dinamo,” club manager Dan Petrescu is quoted as saying.

Arshavin is not the only unpopular Gunner who could have a future at the Emirates. Arsene Wenger has done little to endear himself to the Arsenal faithful by revealing that the only reason Nicklas Bendtner is on loan at Juventus is because he would not sell him outright. Astonishingly, he wants him back in red and white next season, according to the Daily Mail.

In an interview with Corriere dello Sport Wenger, who may have been out in the late summer sun for too long, said: "We believe in him and that is why we only gave him to Juventus on loan. I think he can resolve his problems with us and prove himself. We believe in him."

Apparently Bendtner, who has not played for Arsenal for over a year and failed to shine while on loan at Sunderland last term, is still a "top player" in Wenger's eyes.
