Ex world Welterweight champion Emile Griffith, age 75.

Not sure if he was well known outside of Boxing?
Boxing fans usually well aware of him, known for the death of opponent Benny Paret ten days after they fought.
Paret had called Griffith a "Maricon" at a press conference, a furious Griffith was actually gay but hid it until later in life.

My daughter's best friend's mum passed away on Saturday night. She was only 35. It was terrible trying to explain it to my 9 year old little girl. And what her lovely little friend and her dad must be going through. No child that young should lose a parent. Tragedies like this put everything into perspective. RIP. :(
