Arsenal check on Bari pair
Bonucci and Ranocchia attracting interest
Bari have revealed that Arsenal sent scouts to watch Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Ranocchia in action against AC Milan.
Bari are currently 11th in the Serie A table but they have impressed defensively, conceding just four goals in seven matches.
Young Italian centre-backs Bonucci and Ranocchia have earned rave reviews for their performances and a number of top clubs are understood to be interested.
The Gunners checked on the progress of the pair as Bari claimed a creditable goalless draw away to Milan on 27th September.
Bari sporting director Giorgio Perinetti confirmed: "For the game against AC Milan, Arsenal had a couple of scouts check on the central-defensive pairing of Bonucci and Ranocchia.
"I guess it wasn't a wasted trip for them."

Wenger tracks German hotshot Stefan Kiessling
source:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... tshot.html
ARSENE WENGER is tracking Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling.
The German hitman, 25, has scored six goals in eight games this season and currently tops the Bundesliga scoring charts.
His strong form has alerted a string of Europe's top clubs, including Bayern Munich, Juventus and AC Milan.
But it appears Arsenal boss Wenger is the man most keen on signing Kiessling, according to his agent.
Kiessling's representative, Ali Bulut, said: "Stefan is becoming a big player and things are working for him at the moment.
"He is a very similar player to Rudi Voller with a bit of Oliver Bierhoff.
"Big clubs have kept looking at him since his days at Nuremburg.
"Six or seven big clubs have been in contact including England and Spain's top clubs, plus Bayern Munich.
"For four years Arsenal tried to loan Kiessling from Nuremburg, but it wasn't possible. Now, and in the future it might be possible.
"I think it is likely he will spend another year in Germany, but he wants to move to a big club, and after that I don't know."
He is not better than Bendtner imo.
