Wasnt one of those that wrote him off last season and nor was I one of those that lauded him up this season - what I will say however, is that he may not be top quality but he has worked his arse off for us this season and if we had suarez carrying us up front on his own for the past 4 months, he too would be absolutely knackered right now too. It is for that reason and that reason alone that I wont slate him for saturdays performance but I will add that he absolutely should have scored with that header or at least he would have scored if he had the required quality :(

Adebayor's a very good player when his head's right.

He is total and utter shit. Had a few good games earlier in the season and has now reverted to the mean.

Would it be helpful if I bumped all the abusive posts I received when I dared to suggest he would never be good enough?

I thought not :D

Not the great player his form suggested first half of this season but not the complete donkey his performances against the better teams have suggested.

Bit of a flat-track bully, has upped his performance this season to justify a place in the squad but not only first-choice but sole striker? Embarrassing.

I know it cant be quantified but I wonder how many points/trophies Wenger has cost us by not going the extra yard and buying some decent quality proven players?

In every season we're "just a few players short". And seems everybody and his brother knows - except Wenger.

This year its a top quality Cf we need, and another keeper.
Previously its been Ch's and a keeper.
DM amd a keeper.
Full backs, oh and a keeper.
Decent bench options and a keeper

How anybody believes Wenger should still be in a job after failing year on year not only to bring success to a club of Arsenals stature but to so neglect the fundamental and glaringly obvious positions that could move us forward is beyond me.

I like Giroud, he's a limited footballer but he's working his bollocks off and has been useful this season. He'd be perfect with another striker next to him. Maybe we should try playing Podolski next to him AND buy a decent no nonsense striker in the transfer window!!!

His work rate isn't in doubt but it's not enough. He's getting stick because he's not Suarez or van Persie and whilst that may be a bit unfair on him personally it's also completely justified if we're going to pretend we're title contenders.

Lord have mercy, the least this guy can do is hit the target. I get it's a reasonably tough chance but a top PL striker should be burying those. The pub I was in was going mental at him for scuffing that.

He is costing us points now.
