of course you have to ask why anyone would be so stupid to buy a season ticket if you don't intend to go...
Well as you don’t own a season ticket and never have done you will never know. When you start investing as much as some of us do you will maybe have the same view point that you don’t want to invest more money into watching a team of lambs giving a low effort performance.

If I saw the whole team giving 100% and then losing I would be be going every home game still. As it stands I cant stand watching us half the time. Stoke was the first game in ages I enjoyed at home.

I sell on most of my home game tickets as I cant stand the grove and the fans around me. Away games you get a better base of fans in a ground with some atmosphere.

Was only a few seasons ago when we would sell out every game including CC! Now with each passing season we sell off our more and more players so fans are acting with there feet and not going.

Easy for you to comment RED when you don’t go through what we do on a regular basis.

I didn't think this game was counted on the season ticket, or am I wrong? Anyway, you can't blame season ticket holders, i've got 2 silvers and 1 red. My 2 silvers are just over member number 1.1M, my red is member number 2.4M, that's a lot of members.

surrey gooner

my comment about ST holders wasn't directed at the game tonight, I applaud any ST holder who goes tonight as well as attending the game on Sunday. I have already criticised red members that havent bought tickets for tonight.

I am not criticising your support of the team and yes you probably have attended more games than me. I just find it odd that someone would pay for a season ticket then state on here that he sells on most of the home games. Although judging by the empty seats at games not many are actually sold on.
I just can't work it out. By buying a season ticket you are also just encouraging the present board to continue yet you spend half your time moaning about everything. :?

I renew my season ticket so i still have the away rights as agreeing with mikeyb the away games are much better, the atmosphere at any away game beats the home games

Am assuming that mikey wants to renew his season ticket safe in the knowledge that he will retain possession when wenger finally fcuks off 8)
Selling it on, if he does it privately, is a double whammy for the club imo cos it means there is one less potential customer for the ticket exchange :barscarf:

I can see your point about the away games but something really is not right if people are actually buying season tickets for them to be able to purchase away tickets

my main criticism of the Emirates from the first moment I stepped foot in the ground is the middle tier at both the North Bank End and Clock End. It totally kills any possibility of atmosphere, as the top part and the bottom part are completely detached. Since we are stuck with that I am not sure how things can be improved unless standing areas are introduced in the lower tier.

Well it's not going to be shown in our ground because the club have 'banned' it because it doesn't conform to Wenger's world rules. (everyone must love Wenger). Let's see if it gets shown at an away game!

I pay for my season ticket so I don't loose my away credits. That way I can go any game I like. Also if I was going to the grove I couldn't stand being anywhere I have to sit down so the club have me by the balls.

It's a win win for me as I can sell my home games easy as it's block 6 and then I make up for it by going away games on a regular basis.

That being said I still go several homes just not every one.

Westbrom, marseile for example sold, but then I'm going chelski and Norwich and any cc away game we get

Plus I am keeping it so that when wenger leaves we fans can all get along again! Can enjoy home games again after that lol

Answers the question I guess. Didn't realise you had to actually have a ST to protect away match rights.....wow, the club really have got you by the short and curlies there.

Not sure I have it in my soul to give them a grand of my money but nonetheless respect to the guys that are doing it so that they can see the boys away from home. Proper support that - just a shame that Kroenke Enterprises has to benefit.

I thought there was an 'away season ticket'.....but presumably you only get that by virtue of having a home one to start with ? Shame because seeing 19 away games without the club getting a penny has some appeal.

I think you're being optimistic about Wenger though Mikey.....sadly its 2014 at the earliest and my guess is the Self Harmer will still be picking up his money in 2017

But surely if lots of people decided not to renew their season ticket then away tickets would be far easier to come by.

just a thought

Don't bother commenting on something that doesn't concern you. Just stick to going to games that Red Members can get their hands on (all of them  .............) Do you go to 26 home games a season? If not, why not? They are all available to Red. If you're going to question Season Ticket holders, I'm going to question you.

So................ have you been to every home game this season?
