Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Lucas Torreira has agreed personal terms with Fiorentina. Arsenal & Fiorentina have agreed a deal in principle on a one-year loan, with the two clubs still negotiating on whether it will be an option to buy or an obligation to buy at £15m included in the deal. [@TheAFCBeII] #afc

He just posted a picture to his Instagram of him on a plane with both an Italian flag and a football emoji for good measure - that's peak 2021 for you right there.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:12 amLucas Torreira has agreed personal terms with Fiorentina. More like a floater that pops back up.....what price that its an 'option to buy' rather than an obligationrodders999 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:44 amHe just posted a picture to his Instagram of him on a plane with both an Italian flag and a football emoji for good measure - that's peak 2021 for you right there.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:12 amLucas Torreira has agreed personal terms with Fiorentina. What's the odds that they won't take the 'option' next summer and we'll be in the same situation next year.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:56 amMore like a floater that pops back up.....what price that its an 'option to buy' rather than an obligationrodders999 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:44 amHe just posted a picture to his Instagram of him on a plane with both an Italian flag and a football emoji for good measure - that's peak 2021 for you right there.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:12 amLucas Torreira has agreed personal terms with Fiorentina. Torreira's attitude always bugged me. After his first season he was whoring himself to Milan, in a 'come and get me' plea. When that didn't materialise he started his second season playing like dogshit. Granted, Emery was playing him further forward than normal but it still doesn't excuse the lack of effort. Then he got injured vs Portsmouth in the cup and barely played for us ever since.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
That was more my point - I don't have any massive beef with Torreira. He's not a bad player and better than some of our other c.unts......but our negotiating team are absolutely patheticArsenal Till I Die wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 12:41 pmWhat's the odds that they won't take the 'option' next summer and we'll be in the same situation next year.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:56 amMore like a floater that pops back up.....what price that its an 'option to buy' rather than an obligationrodders999 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:44 amHe just posted a picture to his Instagram of him on a plane with both an Italian flag and a football emoji for good measure - that's peak 2021 for you right there.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:12 amLucas Torreira has agreed personal terms with Fiorentina. I hope that it is an option to buy rather than an obligation to buy - when next summer rolls around we will have conte as manager, and torreira is exactly his type of player

According to @geglobo, Willian had a conversation with Edu & exposed a series of dissatisfactions with the club's project that's motivated him to ask to leave. His wish was accepted, & #Arsenal are open to releasing the Brazilian. https://t.co/W7dlmRP1WC

Willian wants to move to Corinthians & is waiting on Arsenal to reach an agreement over the structure of the deal, which is expected to be a free transfer with Arsenal subsidising part of his wages. [@ChrisWheatley_] #afc

Torn on this deal tbh - if the club wants to sell a player that hasnt requested a move then the club must pay up his contract, so surely if we are allowing him to walk away without a fee, he should then write off his contract ?? C.unts like willian want to take the piss - they want to leave but dont submit an official transfer request cos it will see them lose money, but this c.unt expects to look to go AND get his wages paid up.
I think that if he has asked to go, then the club should allow him go on a free with no wages obligation on us - if that isnt satisfactory, then we should look for a transfer fee

We may have been dumb enough to give him a massive contract but he sure as hell ain't dumb enough to walk away from it.augie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 1:14 pmmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 1:05 pm![]()

Expertly advised by Kia. Clear conflict of interest as he will know from his mate Edu that we are desperate to shift him. Literally stinks.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 2:26 pmExactly this ^^.augie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 1:14 pmmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 1:05 pm![]()

Absolutely, mate. Edutard and Jabberwocky are fleecing the club and us fans for a laugh at this stage and the weird wiggy headed cùnt owner and his spunk stain of a son haven't a scooby.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 2:30 pmExpertly advised by Kia.
