No comparison ,Denmark win and qualify for World and Euro cups on a regular basis,Nicky is also rather younger than Keane and has a far better strike rate .

great story out this morning, Bendy's agent is threatening that nick may have to leave if Juve don't play him more (one start in 9 games...).

Juve's sporting Director confirms that Bendtner is "nowhere near" a starter for the first team.

LOL.

My understanding is that a player cannot be recalled from loan when that loan is to a club in another league - that was def the case a few seasons ago when we loaned van bronchorst (sp  ) to barca and then suffered one of our annual injury crisis's (at left back I think) so couldnt bring him back and if that is the case then he is stuck there whether he likes it or not 8) Isnt there also another rule preventing a player from playing for 3 or more clubs in a calendar year ?? :? If so it means that having played for us and juve then he couldnt go elsewhere anyway 8)

Fucking knew we'd miss him when he left. Hopefully he can leave Juventus and we'll take him again, even his biggest critics from last season have realised that without him we are one of the shittest, most boring teams in the league and have managed to be second best every match with barely a shot on target. Oh to have a talented player who can link the midfield and attack eh, some of them proving the old adage that you don't know what you've got til its gone, one of the best players we have had in over a decade

I can't work out if you're saying that about us or you lot

No wonder it was 0-0 when we met you eh mate :D

Still, I've been told off on here. Apparently Giroud just needs a little bit of time before he becomes a world beater. Apparently in those few weeks he'll gain pace, the ability to control a ball, get his body shape right for hitting a shot first time, develop a personality that doesn't involve holding your head in your hands every other minute, and will finish 1-on-1's with great precision

Nicklas Bendtner has apologised to his friends and fans following a drink-driving incident in Denmark.

bt.dk has reported that the Juventus striker, who is on loan from Arsenal, was arrested last night for failing a breath test after driving the wrong way up a main road in Copenhagen.

The 25-year-old tweeted: "Dear friends I was booked for a mild case of drink-driving last night.

"It was a [quiet night] but I am very very sorry to all my friends and fans. It is not ok to drink and drive. I take full responsibility."

Bendtner is expected to be sidelined through injury until the end of month.

So a bloke who ludicrously insists he is amongst the best footballers in the world ditches his penchant for exaggeration and describes driving pissed down the wrong side of a main road as a minor incident.

I hate when you can't tell if someone's being sarcastic.

As far as the drink driving is concerned why can't these w**kers be sacked for sh*t like this as happens in most workplaces.
