It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I'm with Augie on this. Buy a good AM(two footed no 10) and push him out on the wing :banghead: ....Well done Arsene. But if you actually look at positions on the pitch(not that I'm making excuses), no.10 is probably the only postion where you can have a "lazy" player. The traditional 10 didn't have to track back to make any tackles, but when going forward, we needed his "two-footed-ness" to break down opposition, which Wenger didn't feel the need to exploit :banghead:

I feel AA23 has made his own bed, but Wenger has added to it too :banghead:
I feel Wenger assembled the bed but Arshavin made it.

How does that sound? :D

Scary

Squillaci is keen to return to France. The defender told Var-Matin: "I am experiencing this situation which I am not enjoying. Given offers, I will leave, possibly during the window or else I will wait until June. Marseille, Nice, Monaco, Ajaccio and Bastia are the clubs who are talking to me. I am 32, I have two or three good seasons left in me."

Well, two or three seasons, yes.

Come on....nowhere in any of our history have we behaved like the barca *word censored*, every single one of their players, the manager, directors all beg their transfer target via any and every form of media they can.

Even putting their shite shirts on one of our players......we are not anything like that in any way shape or form.

Carry on 8)

Isn't the difference that this guy is out of contract at the end of the season, whereas our players have usually still had years to run on theirs? :rubchin: :rubchin:

Aren't they allowed to officially hold talks with other clubs from the January prior to their contracts being up?

Yeah they are but going public surely unsettles the player if these talks havent taken place

Don't see how you can tap up a player that can talk to any club he wishes? We're entitled to contact him/his agent directly which must be more "unsettling" then articles in newspapers?
