The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Remy is french. Bony is Ivorian= he will be AFK on ACON duty so its probably for the best.

TBH I dont particularly want Benzema. He was shocking at the start of last season, hes not all the fast and Higgy is far better.

I will cry if another prem club signs Fabregas. I said it once but just kick Ozil to the curb. I am sure Madrid would like him back and Di Maria is what we need.

Sign cesc by all means if he is available but not at the expense of what we actually need, if they wheel Cesc out as some sort of gift to the fans and ignore the priorities, CF, CM and decent reserve keeper then we'll know the nutters are running the asylum

We'll also need a RB to replace Sagna.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is considering signing AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli after the 23-year-old Italy striker was told he was surplus to requirements at the San Siro.

Thoughts on this? He seems a bit too volatile to be a Wenger signing (among other things, including but not limited to the fact he's not French or free)

Seems like the boy is more trouble than he is worth and Wenger doesn't really have a history of being able to manage players when they get disgruntled as this kid seems to do every second week. Great great player and I'd love him at the right price but possibly not under Wenger - prepared to give it a shot though.

No, and that's probably a good thing.

Pure headcase.

We need Cesc, aside from spoiling Manure and Citeh, but then sell Santi on, Santis getting on a bit, love him, but this season hes been rather poor all too often.

Lads, Cesc ain't happening. Sorry to break it to you, but it just isn't.

Loïc Rémy and a reserve goalkeeper. Maybe a French right-back you've never heard of. That's about all you can expect from this summer.

why are people speculating on transfers when the World Cup starts next week??

Wenger has said that nobody moves before the World Cup - oh I see Liverpool have snapped up a decent back up striker this morning. :banghead:

If we bought Lambert there would be a riot on here.
