Wenger Out protest thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I got another forum poster to do it, so I can't change it! :barscarf:

If you want to update yours as it's the original so the font & layout will be better? Up to you.

The plane is already booked and paid for..the rest of the money can go to...well whatever the hell we want really...mobile billboards, hot air balloon, balloons with Wenger out on them..lets get the money in. The plane is booked for next weekend, who cares if the club hears about it, what are they gonna do, shoot it down??

Fantastic guys! Coincidentally I'm going to wba, going up with a baggies fan who lives in Brighton.

As it happens he also happens to be a highly respected aviation and airspace journalist and commentator on aircraft stories , as he will be at the game anyway and will obviously see the banner stunt, we might be able to get this one a bit further then just on the sports pages , shall I sound him out? , if it fly's (sorry :D ) I could get one of of us ( aside from me? ) to chat with him.

The Man U one went with "wrong one: Moyes out" which really worked ( and they sacked him soon after)

so I'd go with just "Wenger out" or at most something like "Over: Wenger out" no more than that

Here it is, let us know if it's OK to use or not & I'll respect your decision!

WENGER OUT NOW! NO NEW CONTRACT!

Relly sorry if this seems pedantic but the clock doesn't look right, shouldn't the longer line be at the numbers?
Kind of looks more 7 or 8 minutes rather than 10 to 2

Love it one of the Lincoln players has said re; the protest

"Some Arsenal fans might be going there wanting us to win. If we start well, we might have 60,000 people behind us, not just 9,000.

No matter what we do or say, the media will always try to spin things to cast us as the bad guys, by pretending to have amnesia or memory loss.

We are fed up with the excuses and constant failure, and now we will stop this nonsense ourselves. We have always held the power BECAUSE WE ARE THE ARSENAL.

The pressure continues, protests at every home game. Now a plane message scheduled. Soon we will look towards mobile ads and balloons. We will damage the brand and the clubs image as much as we possibly can until wenger understands his position is untenable. :barscarf:

We do not stop until he goes.

I'd be in favour of the plane banner saying 'NO NEW CONTRACT - WENGER OUT!' I know we'd want a shorter message, but perhaps it's time we pulled out the stops. Well done Matty for paying for the plane flight :barscarf:
StuartL wrote:Sean, if you are able to attend tomorrow's protest you will be doing your bit mate - being there in person makes a huge, significant contribution :barscarf:
I wont be able to attend til the CIty home match and I'm desperately hoping it won't be too late by then.
Thanks, mate :barscarf:

Is it bad that I'm looking forward more to the protest than the game itself? ☺️
You're not alone mate. I feel there will be an element of emptiness if you do the protest and don't go on to watch the game.
I can tell you it does feel a little strange, although I don't go to games anyway. The march really does pump you up though.
armchair wrote:I seriously dont like how this board/Kroenke shit is creeping in to what was conceived as a strictly #NoNewContract #WengerOut protest.

Similair as to how Red Action and BSM piggybacked onto the banner protests last season and totally, utterly diluted the Time For Change message, lost focus and clarity and made it all about, well.........nothing
Well said

We need to keep the spotlight on TOF.

Agreed

its simple black type on white and non banner holders can raise these as they march, couldnt do colour as we had no funds earlier today, now of course we do

Regarding the clock, the minute hand should be on 10

Still a pretty good job.

blimey! cranking up now , SSN are all over it, the club have obviously gone big time on football endorsements

Paddy is saying wenger is not to blame its the players, ignoring who signs, trains and plays them

and a bunch of managers have been asked in their press conferences Conte backs him (he would wouldnt he ) Pulis playing he deserves respect (yawn) but the one who i have the most respect for is Potchetino - ironically- who says " pressure is normal its football" and words to the effect "one day if i'm not doing well, i'll get pressure", pains me to say it top guy, wish we had him
