ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The only positive is that he can’t be as shit as Chambers, Cedric or Save The Pandas, other than that I’m struggling.

I hope you're right mate. Great reference to Bellerin that as well............Save the Pandas. Actually brought me a shred of joy on another day of despair :D :D

Is this guy the next Junichi Inamoto? Or is he the next Ryo Miyachi? Probably coming to help us sell shirts in Japan. :barscarf:

I've actually found myself laughing at the whole thing, I see the meltdown not just on here but everywhere and am glad I longer put any effort, passion or indeed any emotion apart from humour.

We are a joke, may as well get a laugh out of it, in fact we're funnier than lenny Henry (although even I'm funnier than him tbf).

I even find the WhatsApp pictures my mates send me of women with massive nipples with the headline "more points than Arsenal"

Get used to it, we will be like this for ten years or more.

Tammy Abraham seems like "the one that got away"

We’ve been here before with promising Japanese players….. now he’s signing ‘Takehere thepissoutU’

I think relegation could well be calling this season!!

Arsenal are not interested in signing Houssem Aouar in these final hours. There are currently no talks with OL for Aouar. 🚫🇫🇷 #AFC

Arsenal are only focused on Tomiyasu deal to be announced [medical today] & outgoings, as Bellerin to Real Betis still to be resolved. #DeadlineDay

I have to admit that I also have been finding the whole thing hilarious. When something this stupid transpires, I can't help but disconnect and laugh.

You really have to wonder how dumb Josh and Enos have not to be able to see through any of this.

🚨 Arsenal have reached an agreement with Bologna for defender Takehiro Tomiyasu for €20m + €3m in add-ons. The player has agreed personal terms & will undergo a medical this afternoon before an official announcement. [@FabrizioRomano] #afc

I said to someone on here the other day that we would be better off if these cocks didnt buy anyone else this month and the guy disagreed with me - I wonder if he is reconsidering that now :rubchin:

Honestly I could not give 2 fcuks how many more dodo's they sign cos it will only help to put the spotlight on pep's cone boy and edu when we continue to be an absolute shambles

Ainsley Maitland-Niles could still leave Arsenal today. Club waiting for a compelling offer and have no intention of keeping him against his will if such a bid is received.

With Eddie Nkeitah, understand deal was agreed with Palace but personal terms were not. So he stays atm.

Until EVERYONE votes with their feet and refuses to go to any matches then this shit show will continue.
I have been saying this for the best part of a decade on here now, so i am not entirely surprised how things are turning out.

Up until now it has been a very gradual decline - don’t forget that it is very hard these days for a club as big as Arsenal to fail.
But we appear to be entering into the nosedive phase, where the club is collapsing all around us.
