Btw we now have less than a week to go in this transfer window, and for me it was a window that was looking really good a few weeks ago, but now it isnt looking as positive -

1. ramsey still hasnt signed a new deal or been sold - when is some c.unt in the transfer team gonna take control of this situation, and either sign him or sell him ? The nearer we get to the end of the window, the weaker our position is getting, plus we would have much less time to buy a replacement if he isnt sold soon. FFS sort this out Arsenal :cussing: :cussing:

2. ospina, perez, mustafi, ramsey, wellshit, cech, jenkinson and joel campbell were among the names of those expected to depart, but to date NONE of them have gone   I'm not saying that we would earn a kings ransom from selling them, but ffs it would bring in some extra transfer funds and would release wages from the wage bill, so why havent we moved any of them on ?

I said at the start of this transfer window, that this window would be defined as much by our outgoings as our new signings, and one half of that equation is getting a huge fail mark at the mo

I think the deadline day to sell to other clubs outside England is 31st August so Arsenal could still get rid of a few abroad but won't be able to use the money except to buy new wigs for wiggy.

I'm increasingly thinking Dick, Sven and Raul are caught in a nasty little conundrum that they didn't realise existed, to buy you have to sell, but no-one is really interested in paying highish money for EPL cast offs that have been Wengerised :rubchin:

I think that they're all going to have to accept losing money on players to move forward and that is not something Wiggy likes

100% this ^.

I'd also add this: one of the reasons I didn't and don't view this new "transfer team" as the second coming of Christ is that they don't (yet) know how to do business in England. They don't have a network of contacts at each club that (behind the scenes mostly) get things done. They don't yet know whose ego they need to rub or who to wine and dine to initiate negotiations or get the deal done.

Of course over time they will develop that network and knowledge but for the moment the things Muzz listed and our transfer team's relative inexperience in England mean we are going to struggle to unload our deadwood in England. And few foreign teams will pay superstar wages to average and shit players so that limits that option hugely. :|

Another Wenger legacy. Overpaid average players.

There seems to be plenty of speculation about Perez going to Italy for around £7M so chances are we will get shot of him before the window closes. As for Mustafi - bought for £35M by the defensive genius that is/was TOF and we can't get rid of him even for a paltry £22M. There doesn't seem to be much interest in the rest of the likley suspects who need to be shown the door. What do other managers fail to see in them that the visionary TOF so clearly saw :banghead:

yeah I saw that pic - very interesting. but Barca paid 115million for him - if he signs, he signs on loan. he's only 21.

nice to see PEA, Laca, Miti etc taking Guendozi under their wing too.

I get the feeling that Guendozi is not just going to be a bit part player this year. maybe he is someone that Dick wants to build the team around but doesn't want that pressure on the Kid.

Looks like Ramsey has the club bent over. After all the previous fucking about with Ozil and Sanchez yet here we go again with the transfer window due to close in 6 days time and no signature. They have been pricking about over this since the start of the year and I would love to know what the offer on the table is to judge which party is being unrealistic.

I don't think Emery will allow Ramsey to stay unless he signs a contract extension and can see him being shipped off to Liverpool or chelski very soon. He didn't dick about with Wilshere who had more Arsenal stock than Ramsey. Letting Ramsey go solves the dilemma of the shape and discipline of the team.

Not sure about Dembele as he was injured for large parts of last season and I can't see us equalling the £115m Barcelona paid for him. More chance of getting Mbappe if we are going to spend big money.

How soon though ? The transfer window closes at 5pm next thursday and it is a disgrace that it has been allowed drag along this far  The really worrying thing is that there is absolutely no whisper that the club are about to list him, so it isnt as if we are near a decision either
