Also interesting to note in Wenger's comments near the bottom ....."Everyone can dream of winning the FA Cup at the start of the season," said Wenger. "In the championship you can talk and talk, but we know the biggest budget will win it. I wonder if he will be of the same opinion if Liverpool take the title?

we didn't have the biggest budget in 1998, 2002 and 2004 i'm sure.

Yeah, we all know he is bullish towards the press...it is just more holes in the ground for him to trip up on when he gets found out, ie while we all know Liverpool have spent a decent amount of money, it is still nowhere near the oil money clubs and would be a triumph of the likes he had been hoping to oversee with us, hence making a mockery of such statements as above, as well as that why shouldn't the clubs with the biggest budgets win the cups too?

Now he's finally taking the FA Cup seriously after all those years of weakened teams.
I'm not a big Wenger supporter, but If we win the FA cup and get 4th that would be a good season for anyone.

Taken in isolation perhaps, and to end the trophy drought would be a definite bonus too. However, we were top for half the bloody season only to collapse, yet again, due to not correctly investing in the squad.
To win the customary virtual trophy and add an actual one would be a perfect way for Wenger to be given a gold watch and pushed gently towards the door.
