Yeah Man, R.I.P. Paul Walker!
Apparently he was a genuinely good guy,not into all the celebrity bullshit. He was on his way back from a charity event when the car he was in,(he was the passenger),hit a tree.
He was also the guy who helped to make me cool in the eyes of my Nephew,(the football thing didn't do it cos I'm Arsenal, and his Dad is Man Utd,(one of those who never goes). When he was 10 or 11 I used to let him watch the Fast and Furious dvds when he stayed at my place.I also bought him loads of the collectors diecast cars when I took him to Memroabilia in Birmingham.
At the moment I am having a single malt, with ice, watching 2 Fast,2 Furious in his honour,
R.I.P. Paul Walker

Nelson Mandela.

Controversial tactics in his early years, but showed his greatness by his magnanimity in power and his work for reconcilliation.
Plus he had to put up with that bitch of an ex-wife.

Good tune too.

Without wishing to get into an arguement over it, Winnie Mandela was a very flawed woman but even her own ex Husband acknowledged her for her fight against apartheid all the while he was in prison. Sadly history will remember her for her flaws and not her struggles.

No shame in in any way Chippy - Me too, nothing wrong at all in remembering and sadly honouring a man of great integrity, honesty and true wisdom.

I guess we all knew it was coming, even so it still hurts....I just wish there were more leaders in the world with half the Spirit, Wisdom, Honesty and Heart that this man had.
