Wenger Out protest thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Probably agree for this season but if Wenger signs his new deal then anything goes.
More direct action will be the only option left.

I thought the whole idea is to do all we can to avoid yet another two years? No point holding anything back now, so long as it is legal and effective.

Just to re-iterate what has already been said.

Please keep the protest respectful.

Stay on topic - Wenger out, no new contract.

Cup weekend so there's bound to be a lot of families around. Don't react to provocation and stick to the crowd.

Could I also suggest that when we get on top of the stairs, we wait till everyone has joined up before moving on. Need a pacesetter upfront and behind.

In hindsight I think this is a much better route. When we got under the steps on Tuesday, I thought it might kick off and people might start throwing things at us. The tourists got their camera phones out instead  I didn't like the idea that they were on top us and a few people above the armoury were giving lip service.

I agree with you to the extent that this protest must focus on one man, and one man alone - Arsene Wenger. While many of us loathe Stan Kronke and have very little respect for the majority of the players, Kronke is for another day and those players are simply a reflection on the man who has bought them, coached them, paid them and selected them. They are not the object of our protest.

But if you're saying that we shouldn't be directing anti-Wenger protests within the eyesight or hearing of our delicate flowers while they are preparing for a match, then I disagree. As others have said, pre-match and during the match is the only sensible time to get the message across. So long as that message is all about Wenger then that's all that counts.
Theres always an excuse to do nothing. We just have to be totally focussed and comitted.

Give him hell, he deserves it, he brought it on himself...if the players hear it and don't like it...they can go swing as well. If Wenger goes half that lot will be following him out the door anyway if we get a half decent manager...... so who cares what those pussies think. I couldn't give a rats ass who gets offended by this...we have suffered enough. WENGER OUT!!

When the plane flys over next sat, we should try to get a chant goin. What bout the dambusters theme? We could be the "Wengerbusters"

But I think this is the milenium of protestors, those who voted to stay in eu, those who don't want trump in America, those who don't want trump in England, ban the hunt, keep the hunt, 5 Chileans who want Sanchez to leave Arsenal,  , 150 gooners who want wenger out, let's not forget the 10 people in my road who protested to keep the local post office, I salute you all, but none of these marches changed a thing (my local post office is now a bookies :( ).

Wenger will go when he wants to go.
You miss 100% of the shots you never take.

We are doing something about it and Tuesday proved that this can be massively effective and bring about change.

Whether we achieve our ultimate aim or not is another matter.
Well I for one and probably 99 per cent of posters on here hope it works but I believe wenger is bullet proof and has thicker skin than piers Morgan :?

great to see the protests today, really stepped from bayern.

the media are watching, and wenger will have to deal with their attention and questions and maybe it will throw the old man over the edge. even if it doesn't, surely no-one at board level wants to deal with next season? surely the sponsors at arsenal are embarrassed to be connected to such a losing brand that has become a joke not just in the uk but europe too? fucking hell nike dumped us and puma picked us up, i wonder what will happen when puma get sick of forking over the cash to be associated with us? new balance or some shite will be the next shitty manufacturer i'd imagine
