Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
What will happen is aguero will go to Chelsea for 60m.
Wenger will sell Sanchez to city on deadline day and then think 'wait a minute we should of had aguero as part of that deal'

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
So that is that then - Sanchez is staying (until next summer of course).

"There are two ways to strengthen the squad - the first is to analyse where we have not done so well and where we can improve together, and the other way is to bring in players from outside," he told Arsenal Player. "We are still open to strengthening our team with players coming from outside..."
He nearly said the magic words... he fucking nearly said them...

"internal solutions".

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
ssn now saying psg are interested in buying sanchez and Neymar, he will be sold for sure but rather to them than city.
Oh well a struggle for 5th or 6th coming up, I predicted 5th or 6th last season and reiterate that for this season with even less points.
Lets see if wenger keeps to his word and resigns if we don't challenge this season or is it all about special circumstances

The only real way to strengthen the squad is for the stupid *word censored* to fuck off and retire.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2017 2:25 pm"There are two ways to strengthen the squad - the first is to analyse where we have not done so well and where we can improve together, and the other way is to bring in players from outside," he told Arsenal Player. I think, and I stand to be corrected here, but I think that what he actually said is that "sanchez is not for sale" - there is a huge difference in the meaning of those two sentences

Personally I'd bite the £40-50million (does anyone really believe our shit negotiators/Wenger will get more??) we might have gotten for him this summer and try get even one last year out of him and let him walk next summer for free if that's what he still wants to do. We are a rich football club, let's start thinking and acting like one ffs, instead of acting like a business... get another year out of him, hope either Lacazette (or A.N. Other possibly yet to be signed) delivers the goods or Sanchez sees enough in that year to stay.
He'll be sold in August, won't he...

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread
Debuchy's move to Nice is off due to wage demands. I take that to mean they won't match the stupid money we are paying him.
This is a major problem we have had for too long now, the players are so overpaid that even when they are clearly out of favour they don't want to leave (and to be honest, who can blame them). Of course, Mr 30-years-in-football knows best.
