As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Manure have got no fucking chance of winning it and if they do, it will mean the scum or bin dippers haven't won it so there'll be some good to come out if it. Give that little *word censored* the job full-time it'll just be another Di Matteo at the chavs thing and he'll be a laughing stock by October. No decent player's going to sign for him, the players will down tools again by September and the press will be all over them again. To even contemplate that the little snide, smarmy, fake *word censored* is the answer to their problems for that he's a managerial genius is just fucking laughable. Those players don't give a fuck about him, they're just thrilled to bits Maureen got booted out and that they're getting their own way the whole time. It'll all end in another Manure comedy meltdown 10 games into next season.
Some fucking great posts on this thread (particularly about the absolute shit shower that is VAR) but that is a contender for post of the week right there. Bang on the money.
Can’t help feeling they’re starting to get the ‘Fergie’ luck and treatment from refs. Last night was just ridiculous and the two possible penalties not given to Southampton at the weekend. That just wouldn’t have happened under Maureen.
TBH PSG only have themselves to blame, they are the biggest bottlers in World Football, irrespective of how much money they piss away. Be a perfect job for Wenger, somebody to justify & spin away these constant failures.
On the plus side it keeps another Top 4 side busy & distracted from the PL. If we lose to Manure on Sunday Dick should consider throwing everything at the Europa just like Mourinho did.
ALSO if we do lose or draw on Sunday Aubamayangs pathetic penalty is going to be the defining moment of our season. That point for spurs and our 2 point loss is going to be massive.
The main thing though is I just hope it doesn't affect Aubamayang's summer holidays

Can't help feeling the same about that penno. It was our chance to inflict an absolute hammer blow on them, a third defeat in 7 days and seriously jeopardize their chances of top 4 which with a new stadium to pay for would have serious implications financially for them too.
But instead of inflicting that mortal blow he strides up and rolls in down the middle
There were two penalties at clutch moments last night and both were scored by players who stepped up, picked a corner and rifled it home.
It's not even the fact he missed that's pissing me off it's the way he took it that's so infuriating, it was a guaranteed save once Lloris guessed right. If he hammered it off the post or even wide I'd actually not be as annoyed, can't believe what he did
I think the CL is atletico madrid‘s now. Out of all the possible contenders they would be my choice too.
Didn’t watch the match last night but all the fair weathered Man Utd fans starting to really surface now.
One of them is a good friend of mine. He said he couldn’t give a shit about Man Utd about a year ago which I thought at the time, that going to bite you on the arse.
I enjoy reminding him now when he starts to crow about weasel face and the team now

Thank you very much. In the old days, I could have claimed a virtual trophy for that.

According to some cùnt pundit at some point last night the handball rule is changing for next season. Anyone hear what that change will be?
Yes.. From next season Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool players will be allowed handle the ball in emergency situations without any punishment. This was trialled as far back as the 2001 FA Cup Final.
On a serious note it seems that the concept of accidental hand ball may be no more. Depends on which ex ref's opinion you read. Martin Tyler was in SSN yesterday saying there may be hockey like sitiation where a player could deliberately play the ball against the hand of an opponent lying on ground to get a penalty.

It’s,some rubbish like the players silhouette should mean hands are in a natural position. ?
So players shouldn’t have to put their hands behind their backs when faced with an opponent trying to play the ball at them intentionally (by the way Bergkamp did this once or twice and got penalties I recall )
What it doesn’t do is recognise that when jumping or being off balance your arms come out from your side automatically so it won’t solve anything.
Handball, in my book has to be intentional, not a ricochet.
