Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Arsenal have identified Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri as a possible transfer target. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Dusan Vlahovic expensive options, the Gunners have scouted the 24-year-old Moroccan as an alternative striker.

They have put a £38million price tag on him.

We need a top striker not a bargain basement flip flop.

Partey off to Afcon despite rumours of it being cancelled. Why on earth would we leave ourselves short in central midfield???g88ner wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 4:00 pmCan’t see the point in that really.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 2:58 pmThe Athletic report Roma are interested in signing Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan from #Arsenal. I know we are already a man short every time Clive ElCunto plays.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 7:27 pmPartey off to Afcon despite rumours of it being cancelled. My thoughts exactly - Partey and Elneny being absent, even for a short period, gives AMN a chance to stake his claim, which so far he has failed to do.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 7:27 pmPartey off to Afcon despite rumours of it being cancelled. According to @Gazzetta_it, Juventus remain unconvinced over signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the Italian club look to avoid a repeat of the lasting damage left by Cristiano Ronaldo. https://t.co/V4MvTXpzL3
According to @JamesOlley, Arsenal will look to resist offers for Lacazette, but he is free to talk to overseas clubs directly from Jan. 1, as he will have 6 months left on his contract. Lacazette's importance to Arsenal has been heightened as a result of the Aubameyang situation. https://t.co/7YPUo0zxlS
According to @JamesOlley, Bernd Leno will be allowed to depart at the end of the season - a January exit is unlikely unless #Arsenal can source another backup goalkeeper. https://t.co/498g593ceH

Arsenal have offered Lacazette a one-year extension deal according to L'Équipe!
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Do we need a striker if Aubameyang goes in January? There's plenty of goals in our forward's. Midfield is where we need strengthening.

Not as long as Saka, Martinelli, SmithRowe keep fit, and Lacazette is still focused as our player not a potential move ( I hope we get him on another contract )
Center midfield is still so poor, Xhaka amd Partey were on bookings and we looked very vulnerable today (as always)
It sure who, off the top of my head would fill that position, that is a realistic choice (think Declan Rice will be priced out of our budget and end up at Chelsea)
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Considering how our young players are emerging. We arnt to many singings away from being a top team.
For all the talk about player recruitment. We really need to tie down ESR and Saka. I know they are on big long contracts, but preempt interest from other clubs by giving them a pay rise. I just fucking now the sand heads and City will come sniffing soon. One they realise ESR is a better player than Grealish and 5 years younger. Saka is also better than Foden.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I looked for a "Welcome Aaron Ramsdale" thread but there doesn't seem to be one,.
I know 99% of Gooners were pre-judging him and the club for signing him (£23 Million), but he has turned out to be the best keeper we have had since spunky.

Sky Sports report Ainsley Maitland-Niles is close to reaching an agreement to join Roma on loan for the rest of the season. The feeling at Roma is Mourinho will be able to help Maitland-Niles rediscover his best form, as has happened with Tammy Abraham. https://t.co/w2pYDe3kin
