Other half and girls away at the in laws couple of weeks ago so spent it listening to my old Dr Dre The Chronic album. One of the best albums ever.

The intro for Deez Nuts has me in stitches every time.

If you like your rap angst ridden and with messages then get yourself a copy of the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy's Hiphoprisy is the greatest luxury . Clever whilst still being a good rap album.

Ticket obtained for the Who at the 02 in December :barscarf:

Not seen them before and always wanted to thought I'd better do it now in case they retire soon.

Listening to a lot of Sammy Hagars solo stuff. Really under rated him and for that i apologise. Read his autobiography recently.

Sweet, see you there. (assuming my outrageously priced ticket turns up)

The Nephilim were the business. saw them half a dozen times - loved the western outfits covered in dust.

Preacherman from Dawnrazor was epic. Moonchild too. way better than The Misson or later Sisters.

proper goth they was. I saw them with 120 other people at The Majestic in Reading the day before the festival in 1988.

Sammy was/is quality. His book is quite a good read too. He really doesn't hold back on his "opinions" of the Van Halen brothers!

I'm a lifelong Eddie VH fan - him and Randy Rhoads were the reasons I started playing guitar. I always assumed Sammy's comments after the split up of VH MkII were just bitterness but having seen some of the EVH interviews and rant clips on YouTube I reckon Sammy was right all along. Eddie is not a well person. :(
