The Independent reckons Van Persie favours a move to Juventus but the clubs are apart on the fee.
Perhaps a part exchange with right back/right midfielder Lichtsteiner coming to us, especially if Walcott leaves, could kill two birds with one stone?

I would like that trade, would work well for all parts, i guess. but no one at the board will think that, will they?QuartzGooner wrote:The Independent reckons Van Persie favours a move to Juventus but the clubs are apart on the fee.

part-exchanges virtually never happenRioGooner wrote:I would like that trade, would work well for all parts, i guess. but no one at the board will think that, will they?QuartzGooner wrote:The Independent reckons Van Persie favours a move to Juventus but the clubs are apart on the fee.

It's an absolute disgrace, every season the same shite, with the bungling Wenger telling us the player will be staying. Then once the player has made it clear that he won't be, We then have to endure the "we will do all we can to keep the player" saga.flash gunner wrote:1989 wrote:*zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*

Time and time again this deluded old fucking fool makes a complete ass of himself and the club. I don't know how much longer I can follow this club, with this ridiculous old codger at the helm.
I fucking hate him so much, there is no scenario I wouldn't accept to see the fucking back of him.

I'm pretty sure that Wenger does this all on purpose so he's got a ready made excuse to hand, the RVP scenario has happened too many times over the last 7-8 seasons for it to be a one off. (Wenger a 'man' who never learns from his long list of mistakes) (Perhaps if he admitted to them it'll be a start)goonersid wrote:It's an absolute disgrace, every season the same shite, with the bungling Wenger telling us the player will be staying. All these pictures on ars.com of RVP training all a bit weird .
By the way the latest rumour I have heard is that he will the new face of Just4men .

Be interesting to see what Arsenal try to do to get him to stay. I imagine talks are ongoing (either that or Wenger's telling someone to clatter him at raining) Bendtner and Arshavin there as well.

They seem to be making a point of showing RVP training.... and i reckon they have photoshopped the grey hair to put city or Juve offswimmer1 wrote:All these pictures on ars.com of RVP training all a bit weird .
