WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

It's not his house, it's one he bought for a family member.

Like others on here have said, what's the max we would get for Walcott in Jan? £5 million?

To replace him, for me we would be looking in the £15 million bracket + wages. The fee alone is £58k per week. So from purely a business position it would be stupid not to pay him the £90-£100k per week he is after. That's only an extra £15k-£25k per week, so we would actually be £30-£33k per week better off
From a footballing point of view he has been one of our best players this year and biggest contributors to the team. Replacing him in the summer, means yet another summer spent in transition (and that's if we don't lose anyone else!). At some point we have got to put a side out that starts to knit together.

With regards to Ox, I am convinced his best position is central, he just seems to enjoy it more there. I do wonder if he could do the job Arteta is doing at times?
you read my mind,i think the muscle of the ox would suit the arteta role better than mikel can do it

Disagree at this point in time.
The Ox has played deep midfield before to mixed results; though with him being late teens we can all wait for a few years to see how it turns out for him.

I think The Ox's best future lies as any one of the three attacking midfielders, rather than deeper in midfield.
His main strength is dribbling in the final third.

Agree that his pace and power carrying the ball would be a waste at DM. Unless he's a DM who roves all over the pitch and is more concerned with reckless forays forward than defending. Like Song. Actually, maybe he'll make a DM under Wenger :rubchin:

If Rosicky gets 80k a week for 10 games a season then Theo more than deserves 100k.

There is still "no news" then

Oh well, as predicted he's on his way out for three parts of fuck all, Henry coming in on loan, Gnabry to become the latest new signing, statements of 'dizzying prices' before Uncle Ivan uses the line about the new commercial deals meaning that we can invest in the Summer

The only player we'd spend big money on would be Zaha - another part of the self harm project of constantly going back to the start all over again

Arsenal FC are on self destruct mode. Is was different when Vieira, Cesc and Henry left because they had given this club a lot and seemed to leave for genuine reasons.
Adebaoyor was just poor and Nasri is not Pires so again not really a problem but losing Van Persie, Walcott and Sagna and having what we have instead plus signing a new 150 Million Emirates deal plus getting all that cash from Sky next year tells you very clearly that Kronke is taking this time to turn Arsenal into a cash machine based on fans undying loyalty.
Biggest villain is now Wenger because he is either in on this or even worse letting it happen.

This could and should have been wrapped up months ago. It is clear Walcott will leave and this has only added to gloom and uncertainty surrounding the club.

Theo is gone. Now we can focus on not losing Ox and Santi. I believe Jack is still safe for this season.

Another thread that I shall enjoy bumping up when he's scoring goals at Old Trafford for the home team, whilst everyone's little favourite Giroud is huffing and puffing and putting in a good shift
